Developed by project managers for project managers. Architecture & Construction, Media & Agencies, Research & Development, Music, Concerts & Touring, Events, Education & Training, IT, and many more.
Architects, engineers, contractors and owners seeking a software enabling them to view and search all project data wherever it resides, collaborate with team members and manage construction projects.
I believe that Merlin is the best project management software available today. It has a very clean and intuitive interface but it is also very feature rich.
The Inspector is quite hard to figure out. I find myself browsing through it almost constantly searching for that one setting.
It offers the widest range of pm functions wich are needed and used in actual management. And if you have a question, you will get a world class support: fast and super good.
Project planning with no alternative for Mac OS.
Easy to learn and use, a great, affordable alternative to Microsoft Project.
The only downside is that it does not play well with PC.
It has all the functionality I need to set and adjust dependencies and manage workloads as a project progresses and is a great solution for project management on the Mac.
I don't like subscription. Compatibility with more mind mapping software.
I like it because it is very easy and helpful in architicture and provides many functions in one platform. Newforma is amazing in sharing.
It takes two screens to see the full width of the interface. Maybe it will sort itself out with continued use, but my first experience with this software was horrible.
I liked how easy it is to access records with this software. In the environmental services industry, you need to have records up to 5 years back so its a good space to put everything for the clients.
Newforma however is often buggy and slow to fix problems if ever, especially involving their Microsoft Outlook integration.
I gained a new appreciation for Newforma after spending a week trying to track submittals and RFIs without it. I like the meticulousness that it enforces.
The Cons for this is probably it's pricing structure. It also could give itself a new interface update, sometimes it is a little difficult to navigate through everything.
This software is very efficient in helping me garther daily information. I love it because of the accuracy that come with its use.
Viewer and loading times can be tedious, especially when used to other viewers. Email searches can be difficult.
