Support was really helpful at the beginning, and it made my experience with PlanGuru better. It's good software for the price.
I was annoyed when I learned that my software was shut down remotely when PlanGuru adopted an annual license fee after several years of no fees, unless you opted in for an upgrade to a new version.
Perhaps, the tool’s greatest benefit lies in its ability to automate and simplify complex budgeting and forecasting practices.
It was glitchy at times by not importing excel sheets or causing errors.
That it does this without the help of messy and unwieldy excel sheets is fantastic.
Limited forecasting years. Difficult to make 3 year forecast.
Overall our experience with Plan Guru has been pretty good. The price point was extremely appealing and is what pulled us to the software.
Has no flexibility for FX management. I have a number of expenses in CAD, and revenues in USD, and I don't have the flexibility to see the impact of FX.
Its user-friendly interface makes it a great choice for non-technical users, while its powerful features make it a great choice for data-driven projects.
Because the Planner is essentially a once per year tool, it is sometimes difficult for me ( a technically unsophisticated user) to use it properly as the administrator.
The product is constantly being updated and improved. The Dashboard provides a great look at key performance factors with easy to understand graphics, great for communicating with church leaders.
One of the disadvantages we’ve faced with MartusTools is that the available customer support is limited. This makes it difficult for new users to have their questions answered in a timely manner.
Bill is also ALWAYS super responsive and helpful so having great customer support is really awesome too.
There is no really anything that I don't like about this software.
It is a powerful and secure data management software that makes it easy to store, manage, and share important information.
I am a new user to Martus and so I have not run into any problems or disappointments so far. If I had any comment that could improve the user experience I would suggest the following.
PlanGuru
