PlanGuru allows small/mid-size businesses, non-profits, and business advisors to easily budget, forecast, and plan for the future. Plus, it's Excel & QuickBooks compatible.
Designed for small to midsize businesses, it is a financial planning tool that helps businesses streamline collaborative budgeting, cashflow forecasting, revenue planning and more.
Support was really helpful at the beginning, and it made my experience with PlanGuru better. It's good software for the price.
I was annoyed when I learned that my software was shut down remotely when PlanGuru adopted an annual license fee after several years of no fees, unless you opted in for an upgrade to a new version.
Perhaps, the tool’s greatest benefit lies in its ability to automate and simplify complex budgeting and forecasting practices.
It was glitchy at times by not importing excel sheets or causing errors.
That it does this without the help of messy and unwieldy excel sheets is fantastic.
Limited forecasting years. Difficult to make 3 year forecast.
Overall our experience with Plan Guru has been pretty good. The price point was extremely appealing and is what pulled us to the software.
Has no flexibility for FX management. I have a number of expenses in CAD, and revenues in USD, and I don't have the flexibility to see the impact of FX.
Overall, my experience with Mosaic was a pleasure, and the customer service and experience that they offer are truly amazing.
It's significant upfront time investment can be a barrier to immediate value realization. Inability to connect to Rippling is also a big downside.
Their dedication to providing excellent customer service is outstanding and has made my experience with Mosaic all the more enjoyable.
Have to unpublish models before editing them, making it difficult to edit a model and look at the canvas at the same time. Unable to edit data coming in from data sources.
The support team was good. There is still a lot to learn but there is a lot a great functionality in the solution and it is definitely scalable.
Sometimes our Netsuite integration fails, but usually I just have to retry it and everything flows through. And when it doesn't, Mosaic support is always quick to get things back up and running.
I like the ability to share dashboards with team members while adjusting their abilities to edit/view as needed.
As long as you have time to dedicate to learning how to make the most of Mosaic, it'll pay off.
