Clients around the globe have trusted CHEMCAD for their chemical engineering simulation needs. We're proud to offer advanced yet easy-to-use software that's backed by incomparable technical support.
Engineers, who design everything from consumer products, to heavy machinery, to factories.
I love how easy it was to learn how to use this software -- modeling the chemical reactions/components we need took very little time.
Furthermore, in case of any errors or unexpected results, you have to sort out for the problems manually as the program won’t do itself.
It is excellent for the simulation of food industry processes, such as multireaction petrochemical processes, since it allows the inclusion of the performance and selectivity data.
In my simulations, the program sometimes gives very illogical errors and this affects the reliability of my result. The database needs to be updated and developed.
Easy to use and very useful for the learning of chemical processes, especially for students of chemical engineering and professionals in the area.
It can be difficult to learn, and some people fell behind throughout the semester. Unfortunately, there may not be much that can be done about this.
Very helpful for chemical process design. Getting up to speed is simple and more advanced simulation features.
The toughness just comes from the rigor from chemical engineering in the first place.
It has a great ability to adapt to the tastes of people as you can customize the interface as well as its tools having the ability to customize the packages.
A number of irritating problems functionally have prevented us from integrating Inventor fully into our systems.
ILogic is amazing, it's like having a programming language built into Inventor, a powerful way to automate some parts of design and fabrication.
Frequent crashes, printer problems, network headaches, too expensive, funcionality middle grade.
It's a great tool for modeling, it has a clear and friendly UI. It's a great option, and probably it will satisfy all your needs.
If it is opened in autocad, nothing can be edited, but there is no notification to indicate that it was created in inventor and can only be edited there.
In my case being a professional of iNGENIERIA IS OF GREAT BENEFIT BECAUSE Inventor is updated (with the help of users in Inventor Ideas) and improves with each new version.
Its PRICEY, and it doesn't run on MacOS. That said, it is professional grade and you get what you pay for.
Andrew: My name is Andrew. I work as an administrative assistant. I give Autodesk Inventor a five. For more views, click below. I used some sort of... I did use a sketching software before Autodesk Inventor, but that was so far back in high school I forgot its name. But since I started Autodesk Inventor, I haven't gone back. I chose Inventor because of the variety of tools they use like Extrude tool, IDW format and IPT format. And it was just an endless possibility list that they gave me. It was pretty easy getting started with Inventor mainly because I had prior knowledge of Autodesk to begin with. So it was pretty easy to get started on it. I would say that beware of its cost because as good as Inventor is, it's definitely something you're going to have to break the bank little just to get, unless you're in a corporate company using it.
