Community Service Organizations, Schools, Churches, Nonprofit Organizations of all sizes, sports organizations, political organizations and anyone wanting to run a fundraising based event.
Designed for non-profit organizations of all sizes, it is a web-based solution that helps create online auction catalogs and custom event websites for receiving donations.
It is intuitive, simple, and made us look polished and organized. Features I loved most include: Easy Check-in, Easy Check-Out, entering of winning bids, and the integrated credit card feature.
They do offer to import for you at extra cost. They must have had bad experiences.
We particularly loved the automated winner text notification and giving them the opportunity to self check-out/pay, making it all so much faster and easier.
It was difficult for us to figure out which of the pull down sections to use. Such as "I know I saw that somewhere, but where.
Overall Great Features: The user pages looked stunning, most features you'd want are available. We really enjoyed our use of the software and are looking forward to our next auction.
Sometimes it was difficult to navigate or figure out exactly what functions lied where in the platform. It took a bit of digging around before I got comfortable with using it.
They have numerous help pages and even some youtube videos that help you learn the software. Additionally the technical support was out of this world (see Tech Support is Outstanding).
The only downside I see is the appearance on the phones. It looks old and basic compared to what it can actually do.
First and foremost, ReadySetAuction is amazing solution for non-profits looking to run auctions. RSA integrates perfectly with DonorPerfect allowing you to keep track of everything under one roof.
It is a little difficult on the Patrons to have them have to sign in and make a password every year. Many people ended up getting confused and making a duplicate profile with a different email.
The ease of checking out winning bids when the auction closed was wonderful.
One of the features we miss from our old online auction is the advance arrow to the next item when you are in the description view of the item.
We are excited to use more of the features of this software going forward over the next 6 months. The users shared their experiences with us and said it was very user friendly to use.
It takes a bit of time to set up an auction or event, and the flexibility/customization of the program is a bit limited.
The help desk was wonderful to work with as we quickly set things up and then closed.
My only complaint is that there is not an easy way to see which package a donation has been placed in. Since we held a relatively small event, it wasn't a huge problem, but it was mildly annoying.
Speaker 1: My name is Sierra, and I'm the Director of Family Support and Operations at Lafayette Preparatory Academy. We are a school of 55 staff members and 400 students, and I give Silent Auction Pro a five. Before Silent Auction Pro, we actually used a lot of paper and pencil bid sheets, and we also used some PayPal donations, but we just noticed with the bid sheets we weren't getting the return on items whenever we were doing our school trivia night. And also, it was really hard to get advertising out with just our PayPal Donate button, so we decided to switch. There were a lot of reasons why we decided to go to with Silent Auction Pro. To start off, it was one of the most affordable platforms that we found. We researched numerous different options, and we just kept coming back to Silent Auction Pro. It was this one-stop shop. We had our bid sheets, people could buy their tickets online, we could do online ticket sales for raffles. And then the thing that really sold us was whenever they upgraded it and allowed you to have campaigns, so not only could we use it for our big event, but we were able to use it for little fundraisers throughout the year. It has just boosted our sales so much. We saw it the first year, and it's continued every year after. Silent Auction Pro is really user-friendly. There were definitely some just tips and tricks at the beginning that took a little bit of getting used to, but we've been with Salem Auction Pro I think for five years now. They took our feedback really well. And so every year there would be an FAQ page and it would have those things on there. So once we got over the learning curve that first year, it has been really easy. I would say if you're thinking about getting Silent Auction Pro, you should just do it. Again, we saw our profits increase almost by a full half the first year that we used it. Our people that are at our events love it. The biggest thing that I can say is, when you're using it, just make sure you take lots of clear pictures because the picture features on Silent Auction Pro are wonderful, and that's what's going to help you raise money.
