Contractors Software Group vs Viewpoint Vista: Which is a better fit?

Robyn is my support for the accounting side and she is very knowledgeable and is great at taking you through the program step-by-step. This is a large investment and commitment.

Make no mistake, this package has a large learning and implementation curve. I am 6 months in, and am just scratching the surface as far as having it fully implemented.

True there was a big learning curve but their team was great to teach me through training sessions and today I am using The Pro Series.

I don't really know if I have anything negative to say about the software.

Integration is so much better and I feel that, while still learning, it has been the best software investment we have made.

We purchased the software under the premises that it's "the best in the market" and "no other software can do what TakeOff Plus can. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the product.

We have a pretty good experience with Viewpoint. MFM has finally gotten better, and clearview is helpful.

The outside accountants hate this software. I've used over 30 different software packages, and none of them are as bad and poorly designed.

Allow tons of 3rd party vendors to create great supplemental products. Great customization so it can be set up to what is important to your company.

When I make a mistake putting in Accounts payable and use the wrong batch month, it is a little unforgiving to get the mistake corrected. As I learn it is getting easier.

Overall after implementation and 6 months its been wonderful and I would highly recommend it to any Construction Company.

The integration was very poorly done, and we are still experiencing problems related to poor set-up over a year later even though we paid thousands and thousands of dollars for Viewpoint specialists.

Great product, great company, highly recommend. We have been on the product over a year and continue to be pleased.

Change Orders in the Project Management module are difficult and frustrate users. This problem alone has lead us to start exploring other options for our PMs.
