Kennel Link vs Scout: Which is a better fit?

I have only had to call them 2 or 3 times in 9 years and each time my issue has been resolved very quickly and they are happy to help. I haven't even thought about changing from Kennel Link.

The daycare check in is confusing and very difficult to use.

I love how KL helps me keep all of my information in one place. It is essential to running my buisness and having all the client information I need at my fingertips is a great asset.

For example if you check a dog in a charge them by accident you can’t undo it, you have to delete everything then go and ad me a day back.

Kennel Link is easy to use and the layout makes sense. Its great value, they keep adding features and improving the product, and the customer service is amazing.

We have never been able to use the 'integrated' cash drawer like we're supposed to be able to - it doesn't work properly and we're forced to use a key to open the cash drawer (ugh).

I really love how responsive the people at Kennel Link are. They answer the phone and/or emails promptly and take care of any requests I have immediately.

I'll admit it isn't the prettiest software out there, and it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but those things aren't important to us.

I love the ease of Scout, I was able to set up all of the settings myself with little help.

As a busy dog walker I often don't check my email until the evening & early morning. This has lead to missing those last minute pet sitting requests.

I love the ease of booking appointments and my clients also love the app and how easy it is to add pets and book appointments.

Need to get full front-end functionality of the app on mobile. Most of it is there already, but they are working on it in the new version coming out so no worries on my end.

I exploit the Scout app on our website and in all of our materials. Aside from love and genuine care, Scout is the greatest benefit you can offer your clients and their pets.

The "repeat" feature is hard to know when the last day is--causes some scheduling confusion. On the sitter/walker side, the calendar cannot integrate with any other calendar.

Amazing software right out of the box with an amazing and reactive support service 2nd to none. Your clients will think you’ve invested thousands in your custom pet up.

The GPS tracking was off on some visits which would alarm clients. However that is something that is a variable that is beyond their scope.
