Grant Administrator vs Grants Management: Which is a better fit?

I bought this mostly to keep track of grant applications in our small research centre and to keep track of budget virements in post award. It is good for both and I am happy with the purchase.

Sometimes when I go to "reconcile" an expense, I get an error message. Have to shut down the program and reload.

One of the best things about this program is to be able to run different types of reports which is very helpful when trying to project spending trends on grants in order to prepare the RPPR each year.

Does not seem to be able to make any changes on the back end of the product. No enhancements whatsoever.

The staff is very responsive to questions/problems. The program is consistent, reliable and can handle the large number of small grants I oversee (40-50/year).

The support team builds up relationships with customers over time and remembers your needs - very nice compared with the 'call centre' approach.

The best features of this software is the ease of use and the excellent customer service when you have questions or issues.

Our reviewers found the logic model difficult to read on their side.

The ability to export to excel is extremely helpful and time efficient and calculation of reviewers scores is great.

I struggled a little bit with the reporting but the help/assistance the staff offer helped me so much.

The post acceptance sections give me the ability to continue my relationship with the grantee beyond the award.

The customer service we receive from Community Force can not be beat. They have always responsive and quick to point out that their job is to provide us the support we need to be successful.
