Small to medium size, product-selling businesses looking to get more out of QuickBooks by adding growth-focused inventory management and high-volume order fulfillment capabilities.
LOCATE's flexible workflows are designed for product-based businesses across all industries. A typical LOCATE company has 10-100 employees.
Acctivate is a great inventory management software that integrates with QuickBooks. Their setup/onboarding process is great to assist with ensuring the file is setup for your business.
This is my biggest problem with Acctivate and it the one thing that makes me very angry. My only other problem is training.
This is an excellent product that is from an equally excellent vendor whose attention to customer service and details are superb.
Most of the support techs I have spoken with have bad attitudes.
I have been using ACCTIVATE now for almost 2 years and find it to be a solid application, feature rich and backed up by great support.
What would someone pay for an inventory management system that works without a flaw in a QuickBooks environment.
I appreciate the ability to build just the right set of modules for what we need and particularly like its ability to handle our complicated inventory system.
I have been dealing with a print error from Acctivate and have had a ticket open for over a week now with only back and forth email communication.
Locate is continually rolling out improvements and additional capabilities, their customer service is responsive, pleasant and truly helpful.
For example, sales orders can't be edited in an issued status. This is inconvenient when a partial order goes out and you need to adjust the remaining order.
We feel like this is a platform that will grow with us. Locate is radically different - better, IMO - from any other inventory/order management platform in it's class and a great value for the money.
Some of the features and functionalities are still too limited.
I like the fact that it is SaaS, and they have integration with all the tools we need. The barcoding on BIN locations and the paperwork it generates has been a godsend.
The second chart of accounts threw me off a bit and it was sometimes difficult to reconcile with QBO.
I've already recommended LOCATE to two other clients, and will continue to do so. They care about their clients, and keep improving their software.
If they are weak anywhere, I would say the accounting expertise that LOCATE provided us may need another person, but that was a year ago we implemented so maybe they did that.
