Business Capability Modeling
Business capability modeling is essentially an image or picture of what a business does as a graphical representation. Not to be confused with an organizational chart (which shows who does what within a company, a business capability model shows what a business does and how it gets done (including overall work and processes).

SMBs can use business capability modeling for planning purposes. For example, if a business is seeking to unveil a new product, business capability modeling can be used to show what new processes and procedures need to be purchased or worked on to execute that product.
