Fuel Cell

Fuel cells operate in a way similar to batteries, but they produce electricity and heat without breaking down. Fuel cells generate energy through a chemical reaction, but they are recharged by refilling or replacing the chemicals instead of plugging a charger into a wall socket.

What Small and Midsize Businesses Need to Know About Fuel Cell

Scientists are working on technology to create low-cost, miniature power supplies for computers and other electronic devices. To be competitive in today's market, businesses need not only reliable IT powered by fuel cells, but they require backup power sources to maintain services in the event of fuel cell failure or other types of power interruptions. Those might include uninterruptible power supplies, commonly known as UPS devices. These devices are now available in small portable sizes. They are available to provide longer-term power storage, protect IT infrastructure and services in the event of power failures, and save data.
