Ku-band (Kurtz-under Band)
Ku-Band stands for Kurtz-under Band. It refers to a set of frequencies used for satellite communication. These frequencies range from around 11 to 17 gigahertz (GHz). Ku-Band frequencies are used for satellite television and other visual broadcasts. They can also be used for voice and data services and may be deployed as needed by emergency services.
