SDMA (Spatial Division Multiple Access)

Spatial division multiple access, or SDMA, is a channel access method in the world of telecommunications or computer networks. It refers to an advanced multiple antenna technique that makes use of parallel spatial pipes to transmit signals. This satellite technology is used for cellular devices that move throughout various locations. It allows frequencies to be transmitted quickly and efficiently while the devices are on the move.

What Small and Midsize Businesses Need to Know About SDMA (Spatial Division Multiple Access)

SMBs may opt to use SDMA-based technology for their wireless devices or computer network system if they need to service multiple device users within the same region that are separated by an allowable distance (called the reuse distance). In turn, the frequencies can be reused to eliminate interference and save network resources.
