Being responsible for managing costs, I'm always looking for solutions that provide exceptional value. Middleware does precisely that. Pros Comprehensive monitoring capabilities: Middleware offers a wide range of monitoring capabilities, allowing deeper insights into the performance of our systems and applications.Easy Integration and Setup: The installation setup was easy and quick. I didn’t face any challenge what’s so ever. Cons Limited Customization Options: They do offer the ability to create custom dashboards, but I personally didn’t feel it to be so useful. We did sign up for Datadog's free trial but found it difficult to use. Middleware, on the other hand, was easy-to-use. June 20, 2023 4.0 I tried Middleware during my upskilling process, where I tried, tested and learned various observability tools. As someone who also used other observability tools, I found Middleware to be the least complicated. The tool was easy to use, they had detailed documentation, and their installation process was relatively easier than Datadog. I continue to use them for my side projects and experiments. Pros Shallow learning curve. As someone relatively new to the DevOps ecosystem, I found Middleware to be very easy to use and set up. I rarely had to ask the support team for any help; when I did, they quickly resolved it. Cons To be honest, I didn’t notice any downside of using Middleware.
