All-in-all, our community has had a good experience with HOAworks. They have had wonderful response times for our inquiries, helped us figure out the ropes as a very young community, and provided support and guidance when we were lost or weren't sure how to proceed.

Pros

HOAworks went to the top of our list of considerations for management companies specifically because of its value. Since we have been onboarded, we've really had a good experience with this company. Their Onboarding process was incredibly smooth. They were phenomenal with quickly putting together our custom website, and the platform is very easy to use. Financial documents have also been much easier to follow than our previous company.

Cons

The community has experienced some frustrations surrounding email communications and planning. For instance, we would like to have a "public" events calendar where the community can come and see or add an event on their own to reserve the clubhouse. This process could be improved. Additionally, we have seen some issues with a bit of a small character limit on email communications to the community. There's also room for improvement on how "Groups" work in the portal for different committees.

It has really simplified managing the HOA's business. We've been able to communicate with members much easier.

Pros

It is easy to set up and use. The technical support is outstanding. Communication will HOA members has been greatly improved.

Cons

Learning the irrational accounting jargon was most frustrating for a rational engineer. Once learned it is not so bad.

HOAWorks has been a game changer for our small condominium community. We’ve had so many problems with condo management companies in the past, this system has allowed us to take control of our finances and simplify the process.

Pros

Customer service is top notch! They provide a great appointment system to schedule a meeting and \[sensitive content hidden\] goes above and beyond to address any issues encountered. I would highly recommend this product just because of this!

Cons

The learning curve on some of the more complex issues like prepaid rents and prepaid vendor credits. Currently these are handled very differently, which is not intuitive.

We are still learning to use HOAWorks. None of our property information was stored electronicall,y so onboarding the 900+ property and owner information has been a daunting task. Once we are finished this process, we feel that this will be a tremendous asset for our organization.

Pros

Customer support at HOAWorks is top notch! They have never failed to address any concerns we've had. Also, other property management packages were very pricey, so the value is very appealing. Navigating the website is easy and straightforward, allowing easy, fast access to stored imformation. We like that, being web-based, allows us to access and use HOAWorks from anywhere.

Cons

The bookkeeping portion of the program is somewhat counter intuitive to what we are used to using. Therefore, this has been the most challenging aspect. A Help and FAQ section would be very beneficial.

We would highly recomend HOAworks to any condos looking for management software. From begining to end they are always there to help whenever we needed it.

Pros

Easy to use, and the support offered while setting up the system was outstanding. It is a tremendous value for the cost. The online payment system was very helpful.

Cons

we actually don't have much negativity. Our main problem was the lack of experience with online environments. They helped us through the whole setup process, making it much easier to use.

Extremely satisfied with the savings over other management companies as HOAWorks.com provides same service at 1/20 the cost. Professional online presence with quick solutions for HOA membership.

Pros

Small company feel with extremely personalized service. No multilayer departments resulting in quick resolution to questions. Platform is user friendly and self-serve.

Cons

Onboarding process was a bit clunky but with time and strong communication it became clearer and was able to work thru the details.

We went with HOAworks over other companies as you get people and not just software that’s you have to try manage yourself.

Pros

The people. It is great have a real person to talk to or email and always get a response. We don’t have to rely just of the software flows/automations to solve issues.

Cons

The software has some bugs that need fixing but they have and are continuing to improve. Sometimes the UX can be confusing and not straightforward.

Very positive feedback from our community on using the HOAworks site. From the managing side, we love it! So easy to set up and get rolling. When we had questions, customer service was super quick to respond and very friendly to work with.

Pros

Everything we need is in a easy to use website. Our homeowners can access any documents they need, join meetings, send requests to the board or see what's happening on the community calendar. The board has access to everything they need including bank information and all our historical documents. HOAworks is a perfect site for our small community.

Cons

Only thing we wish we had was access to both our accounts at our bank through HOAworks. At this time we can only see one.

As any new user, there were some bumps in the road; however, the customer service has been incredibly valuable to our condo association. Our issues were immediately addressed and quickly resolved.
