Anyone can learn to use the system in a short period of time. It impacts very positively the whole process, especially time efficiency. Cons Component tracking:I would like to suggest to use reference between different TLBs in order to be able to automatically get the utilisation as of date. Meaning, the system should make the connection between the latest TLB and the TLB when the component was initially introduced, through TLB numbers and dates. In that way the system will be able to calculate the utilisation by taking into account the time difference between the two documents. Overall score from me would be 8.5/10. Slight changes and updates to the current Modules would skyrocket the ease of use, which I think would benefit the platform greatly. Pros The forecasting system works fabulously and with minimal effort from the user provides a clear scope of work within the given warning conditions. Cons My two main issues with AERO are the following:1) Duplication of overdue tasks if entered both into AMP and Components. My temporary workaround for this issue is whenever I use the Maintenance function on a certain component, I go into the AMP section and change the task to Not Applicable. That way it shows up as due only in the Components and not in both the Components and AMP.A proper solution for this would be to have a clear connection between an AMP task and the respective components that are controlled by it. 2) Work Order Revision function isn't intuitive and is tough to grasp upon first glance, unlike other features of AERO. Perhaps a "Summary of Changes" Tab can be added in the future, which would greatly improve it. Also the possibility to add a "Cancelled" status on Work Orders would be a great addition. It is very clear that the developers have a deep understanding of the aviation part of their bussiness. Pros It has a modern look and features adjusted for ease of use.Customer support is excelent too. Cons The option to archive old records and POs that have been completed, so not many show up in the current review is missing. Would be nice to see this implemented too. Pros I really like that I can easily calculate current utilization for A/C.Preparing WO is the best option because it is quick and easy. Cons There are still features that need to be improved. Foe example we need WOs to have option cancelled and more advanced selection for entering defects.
