I’m really happy with Sessions and I have seen it continue to improve.

Pros

Sessions is easy to set up and use, and inexpensive compared to competitors. The developers are super receptive to feedback and continue to add features. Customer service is very responsive. I also chose Sessions over other EHRs because their data privacy policies were much more transparent; this is crucial for legal and ethical documentation of clinical practice.

Cons

I don’t use the built-in telehealth platform because I don’t find it as flexible or user-friendly as external ones, but this hasn’t been a problem.

Pros

I really like that Sessions is so straightforward and to the point. I switched from another EHR to them. It's also affordable.

Cons

There isn't a telehealth platform that can be used.

Since I moved from my previous EHR sessions health has been amazing. The customer service has been five star. They respond quickly in a timely manner extremely helpful when I’m enjoying using sessions help with myself and my staff is that it’s very user-friendly and the cost has been great and affordable.

Pros

It has been affordable. I have five therapist and myself, and so it makes it affordable as a group practice. I love the customer service. They are very responsive and responding timely manner any questions that I’ve had.

Cons

The one thing I’m hoping and waiting for is a treatment plan that includes a Wiley treatment planner and you can just import instead of doing a lot of typing

I would say I've had an outstanding experience. I tried two other EHRs prior and stuck with Sessions and have been so glad with my choice.

I don't have any problems so far. Even so, they keep adding new features, and I do appreciate the new things as they roll out.

We are pleased. We get more for less money

Pros

It is visually clean and easy to use. My favorite is the way progress notes are ready for me in a list to complete so if I get far behind, it’s not extra clicks it’s just one click to finish note after note after note.

Cons

I’d have to dig deep to complain. I’m overall very happy.

My experiences have been positive thus far.

Pros

Once you acclimate to the system its easy to use. Customer service is awesome! Responses to inquiries are prompt, and detailed. Examples including screen prints for directions makes it easy for a solo Practitioner to resolve issues quickly

Cons

Inability to bill EAP claims. When the system goes down or there is a problem we aren't notified and you have to search to determine its a problem on Sessions side.

Overall, my experience with Sessions Health has been positive. It’s simple to use, and I find the scheduling and billing features very helpful. I think a few more integrations would make it even better, but it’s a great tool for professionals.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use, especially for scheduling appointments. The billing feature is also helpful for keeping track of payments.

Cons

It would be great if it had more integrations with other platforms. That way, it would be easier to use alongside other tools.

I've been using Sessions for about 4 months and so far, it has been a good experience for a reasonable price point!

Pros

It's intuitive and user-friendly. The customer support were very helpful when I was just learning the software at the beginning. I also really like the pre-set assessment forms in the system, and the ability to customize forms and documents.

Cons

Like most therapy software that I have used, it is not as intuitive to set up a couples and family file. It seems easier for clients to navigate setting up their portal individually, and then for the therapist to combine their files into a group file.

Easy to use, great prompt customer service, and no major complaints.

Pros

I have liked that Sessions was easy to learn to use, and that my clients have also found it to be hassle-free when completing their onboarding paperwork. When I have had technical questions, I've always found either a video tutorial or rapid help via email could solve the problem without much delay.

Cons

I wish Sessions had the capability to organize clients into therapy groups, both for scheduling and for note writing (i.e. some parts of the note could auto-populate into all client notes for that group, such as start and end time, and a summary of the themes discussed, etc.).

I had tried three other EHRs prior to finding SH. I will be with them forever unless they start acting crazy and making ridiculous rule changes or jacking up the price significantly. My experience has been excellent.

Pros

What I love about most with Sessions Health is that the owners are very responsive to the users concerns and suggestions.

Cons

I really wish you had an actual app. I know that we can access the platform on our phones but it is a bit cumbersome. Other than that, I have no complaints.

My experience with SH has been extemely positive. The response time from customer service is minimal and they are always friendly. The system is wonderful and easy to navigate. You can't beat the price. I only wish I had found it sooner.

Pros

Before Sessions Health (SH), I had been using an EHR that I literally hated. It was cumbersome and complicated and because of that, I avoided my notes like the plague. When I found SH and did the trial, I teared up and felt immense relief. I realized it wasn't me, it was my EHR that was causing me to want to quit (that's how much anxiety I had over it). SH is simple to use and works with my brain. All of the features are easy to navigate. If I ever have a question, the customer service gets back with me very quickly and has always had a solution/instruction. I've never had a situation where they couldn't help me or the feature I needed didn't exist. The portal is easy for my client's to use and they appreciate being able to do everything in one place. I've been with them almost six months and have never experienced a glitch or a break in service due to any technical problems. I tell all of my therapist friends about this EHR and recommend it often.

Cons

The things I like least are so minor, I hesitate to mention them. I wish there was the option to click on quarter hour times. They can be typed in and will show up on the calendar. I wish I could move the sections of the forms around. I added my own sections but now they are in an awkard spot on the form. That's it! I love SH.

I chose SH because the cost was so low.

When I started my private practice, I was looking at so many EHRs and I'm so glad I came across Sessions Health. It met all my requirements for an EHR at a fantastic price. It was super easy to set up and very easy to use on an ongoing basis.

Pros

I love how inexpensive it is. It's a fraction of the cost of other comparable EHR systems and covers all my basic needs and then some. Whenever I've had questions, customer service has been super quick and responsive. I also love their values and how user-friendly it is for clients.

Cons

There are some features I'd like for Sessions Health to have, like being able to message all clients at once. But the team has been really responsive to requests and they've already implemented other desired features. For the cost, features, and ease of use, it's really a no-brainer.

Great. Highly recommend! They have a lot of features I don’t even user for treatment planning and insurance billing. I can see where this would be a huge time saver for people with larger practices.

Pros

I previously used a competitors EHR, and their prices jumped suddenly. I asked colleagues for recommendations, and Sessions was highly regarded. It was also competitively priced. What I didn’t expect, but LOVE is the customer service. They are incredibly responsive, not just providing tech support, but also adding on new features. I’ve been able to customize forms so charting is fast. They also helped me transfer client records when I first onboarded. So no data was lost.

Cons

There was a short learning curve at first. But it wasn’t bad at all.

Overall, the features have expanded and include telehealth and insurance billing. I use insurance billing and it is amazing. The features are excellent, and whenever I have a question, customer service is super responsive!

Pros

I love the pricing, features, and customer service.

Cons

The features have been incremental and took a while to get used to the platform and changes, but with customer service and responsiveness, they have really worked hard to deliver over the past few years.
