I came from another well known EHR system, and do not regret my decision. The transfer and integration process was seamless, and their customer service walked me through every step of the way. Anytime I’ve had a question, they have been incredibly quick to respond. The system meets all of my business needs with ease. Pros From the beginning, the customer service for Sessions Health was better than any previous EHR that I have used. They also promised to keep their product evolving and adding new features, which they have. They promised to keep their price point affordable for users, and have kept that as well. The user interface is not the most up-to-date, but also one of the easier experiences I have had. It is easy to customize note templates, and forms for electronic signature. The calendar is intuitive, and their mobile site works just as well as desktop. I also appreciate the constant save function, so as not to lose progress on notes if something goes wrong with the browser window. Cons I’m honestly hard-pressed to name any cons. The user interface, as stated above, is not as flashy as other EHR systems. However, it is much simpler and more intuitive than others I have used. I left SimplePractice because they doubled my fees for the same features, but I'm glad they did, because I like Sessions so much better. Pros Sessions is the most user-friendly, visually appealing, and supported EHR I found after reviewing numerous other products. Whenever I have reached out to customer support, I have felt like I was their only client--that's the speed and level of attention I received. I offered two suggestions about how they could improve the user experience, and both suggestions were eventually adopted. Who does that? Sessions also allows inclusion of Zoom links in appointment reminders, an important detail that other services do not support. Cons The only area in which Sessions doesn't exceed other services is the library of assessments, questionnaires, and forms. I'm not a tool-heavy clinician, so this doesn't bother me, but for those who are, they might find the selection less than satisfying. March 4, 2023 5.0 Their response time is amazing and the explanations they offer are very clear and helpful. They provided support to transition from another EHR. All of my data was imported perfectly. They are open to feedback and actually made some adjustments based on my individual needs. Sessions health seems to truly be committed to developing their product based on their users needs. I have tried many EHR products and this is by far the easiest to use and customize as well as being the most economical product. Pros Using sessions health is intuitive. The design is uncluttered and very well organized. They provide comprehensive templates that can all be edited or you can very easily design your own forms with the software provided. The customer service is outstanding! Cons At this time there is no telehealth feature, although that is expected in June. In the meantime I use free Doxy.me and Google Workspace for telehealth. Owner and Therapist Mental Health Care Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "End Your Search - Choose Sessions Health EHR " January 27, 2023 5.0 After doing a TON of research and creating countless comparison spreadsheets, I landed on Sessions Health EHR and I am SO glad I did. I love being able to use system forms, and create my own forms. The calendar works really well for my needs and the appointment reminders are key! The whole EHR is organized intuitively and the interface is clean, user-friendly and fast. The for all that you get, the price can't be beat. I highly recommend Sessions Health, especially for solo practice owners. And don't get me started on the amazing support! Fast responses and clear helpful answers for anything you need help with. Pros The forms, calendar features, and reminders are all super helpful. Cons I do wish the portal had a slightly better look visually, perhaps with the ability to have my logo on the screen and on my paperwork. I am not terribly tech savvy, so the ease of use is extremely important to me. This platform is beyond intuitive and extremely user-friendly. I was able to figure out most of it myself, without any assistance, which is a miracle in and of itself. The support staff is off the charts! They respond almost immediately, even on weekends, even late in the day. They provide easy to follow instructions and are always courteous, professional, caring, inviting and ready to help. I have been beyond impressed by this product and the support. I highly, wholeheartedly, 100% recommend it to everyone. The value for the price is almost too good to be true. I am thankful every day for finding this platform. I tried close to dozen other EHRs, and nothing else compares, in my opinion. They even transferred all my clients, including each and every corresponding note, from my previous EHR, which was beyond impressive. No other EHR I know of offers that service. Most of them will transfer the clients with some basic demographics information, but not much more. This was a full-service transfer at Sessions Health. They also have been making a lot of enhancements to their product, but even if they never made one more, I still would be hundred percent happy with them, as long as they don’t get any worse. I didn’t hear anyone talking about it. But I “took a chance” because of all the things I demoed, I liked this best. It’s been great. Pros Sessions Health provides all the essential needs for a small practice at their basic level and then allows add ons based on need. I switched from a program that I felt I was overpaying for since I did not need all of the services that it had offered. Love the ease of charting, customizability of the notes. Cons I would like for additional options to sort data, such as by names and dates in either order. Esp payments made, I would love to the see the most recent payments first. Takes the stress out of getting forms signed. Pros I love using sessions health. I switched after 3 years of simple practice and would never go back. Cons I feel the treatment plans should have drop downs to choose from. I also think if there was an option to tag a client wjth "Aetna or lyra" that you could easily see it would be nice.
