We originally began using Truckbase in 2024 and given our limitations as a company we chose to leave, however after 7-8 months we came back and have been back now since early 2026. We appreciated the customer service from the beginning and that's why when we decided to return to a digital platform, Truckbase was the top choice. Our drivers love it and so do we! Pros The ease of use for both drivers and office staff is by far the biggest pro. Very effiecient and minimal clicks to get done what we need to do. Customer support is also great! I don't see a future for our company without Truckbase at this point, it is truly a software that gives us much better time management and more efficient workflow at an amazing value. Cons Our biggest challenge was moving from a paper, old school system to digital. This wasn't necessarily anything Truckbase could have done differently for us, but rather where we were as a company at the time. We just wish we would have known about it sooner! Pros There are numerous aspects I appreciate about this software: its user-friendly nature, the accessible support staff, and the capability to monitor your drivers without relying on an additional application. Truckbase has the ability to integrate with other programs like QuickBooks, Motive, and Wex/FleetOne Fuel. It has been wonderful to have Wex/FleetOne fuel is connected, as the purchases update regularly, which is great to see the real-time transactions. Fuel can be linked to the particular driver, truck, and order, and during settlements, it takes into account all costs, allowing you to view the profit margin for that specific order. Additionally, having all paperwork, such as permits, centralized for the dispatchers and drivers on the road throughout the week is valuable. It has been beneficial that drivers can instantly take photos of their BOLs and submit them with ease; they can similarly upload receipts or various expenses and organize them based on the type of document. The app is straightforward for drivers to navigate, allowing them to effortlessly accept orders, access documents, and indicate their status as in transit, on scene, and delivered. We appreciate that the app includes time stamps, enabling us to verify on-time pickup and delivery or if the drivers have remained at a location beyond the anticipated duration. This visibility helps us contact the broker for detention pay if necessary. Additionally, we value the capability for live billing. This feature guarantees a consistent flow of income for our company throughout the month instead of relying on billing on a predetermined day, which causes the due dates to coincide, resulting in the receipt of numerous payments simultaneously. Which obviously is not a problem, but as a business a constant flow of income throughout the month is preferred. Truckbase enhances numerous operations utilized by dispatchers and the accounting department, resulting in a more efficient use of our time and allowing us to accomplish a greater number of tasks than previously! The team members I have had the great pleasure of working with have been exceptional! We have worked with Jonah and are currently working with Nick; I apologize if I overlook any other team members we have worked alongside. They have been readily available for communication, readily initiating video meetings and responding to any inquiries or issues. They make it their priority to check in, asking how we are doing and whether there is anything they can assist us with or any improvements we can suggest that would benefit our company and others. The cost-effectiveness of this software is exceedingly valuable, as it consolidates everything in one place. I cannot recommend Truckbase enough; if you are thinking about it, give it a try, and you will not be disappointed. Cons I don't believe I have anything I dislike to report on. I would estimate our work flow is now almost 50% faster, especially with the integration with Quickbooks. I wish that I had found Truckbase years ago. Pros I had been looking for quite a while for a software system to replace our old trucking software. I finally found Truckbase and within the first 2 meetings I was very sure it was our new best choice. The onboarding process was smooth and \[sensitive content hidden\]and the guys were very supportive and available to assist us in getting up to speed quickly. It covers every part of our heavy haul operation and there are still more functions that I can work in and improve as we go forward. Cons This is really not a con about Truckbase, but I realized about halfway through the process that it would have been easier to not switch over during our busiest season. It has helped us become more efficient and effective and do more with less. We have been able to grow trucks and drivers while keeping backend staffing the same. During our search for a new TMS we looked at multiple options and Truckbase was the only one that was able to check all the boxes we were looking for while doing it at often times a fraction of the price that the others were offering. I 100% would sign up again in a heartbeat if we were in the situation again and recommend Truckbase to any company looking to expand their trucking and heavy haul business. What sets Truckbase apart is how incredibly user-friendly it is. The user interface is clean, modern, and highly intuitive. We were able to transition our team—including some of our older, less tech-savvy drivers—with practically zero pushback. The text-based dispatch and the mobile document scanning feature mean our drivers have everything they need at their fingertips, completely eliminating the need for constant check calls or chasing down physical paperwork. The program has streamlined a lot of our work load and has fixed our problem areas that we couldn't do with our prior program. Pros The easy of use as well as the quality customer service and quick response times. When ever we come across and error/issue it is resolved in a timely manner. All the customization we get for the cost of the program far exceeds our expectations. Drivers & customers are pleased with the delivery of dispatching as well as invoicing. Cons Overall we are very pleased there are a few very minor things we dislike 1 being the owner operator settlement functions. With that we have received lots of assistance and have been informed that improvements are constantly coming our way.
