Their Customer Care in the onboarding process is Top Tier! They have already set the bar high. From onboarding to customer support, my experience has been exceptional. Super user friendly design for both office and the driver use, it doesn’t get easier. I have had virtually no headaches during our transition. The one bug issue we had was resolved right away. Managing our fleet and managing our drivers has been so smooth. A breath of fresh air. Last but not lease, they are affordable even for a small outfit like ours. Growing our company is going to be a breeze!

Pros

What I like most is their Customer Care and their focus on equipment hauling and oversized equipment hauling aspects of the trucking industry. It’s almost as if it were designed just for us.

Cons

I didn’t find any dislikes. They’re still developing and open to suggestions to improve their TMS is a huge plus.

### "A Great TMS Solution For Heavy Haul Carriers"

We chose Truckbase after a fairly lengthy evaluation of a variety of TMS solutions because they were the only ones that fit our needs as a heavy haul carrier. They were able to accommodate the high level of specs that we have to track regarding our commodities and were one of the only ones that had an option for price quoting before and order is created. Having the ability to do document management right from Truckbase allowed us to eliminate multiple other pieces of software along with giving us the ability to share documents like permits easily with our drivers through the Truckbase app and order landing pages.

Pros

\-Truckbase being all in on heavy haul is a huge factor for us because they understand our business and offer features to match. -Our drivers are happy with the visibility of what they have to do ahead of them. The landing page has all of the information for their loads, all of the documents they need for their load along with information on upcoming loads which has increased communication that the drivers have appreciated. -Truckbase is incredibly fast to respond when it comes to support and they have been quick to fix any small bugs that have occasionally popped up.

Cons

\-There haven't really been any cons that we have been able to notice as Truckbase has been incredibly responsive to all of our questions and requests.

As a whole we are very satisfied with our experience from proposal to training and set up we have received constant support. The program has streamlined a lot of our work load and has fixed our problem areas that we couldn't do with our prior program.

Pros

The easy of use as well as the quality customer service and quick response times. When ever we come across and error/issue it is resolved in a timely manner. All the customization we get for the cost of the program far exceeds our expectations. Drivers & customers are pleased with the delivery of dispatching as well as invoicing.

Cons

Overall we are very pleased there are a few very minor things we dislike 1 being the owner operator settlement functions. With that we have received lots of assistance and have been informed that improvements are constantly coming our way.

### "Could be great but has a ways to go..."

I have paid for this through July 1st. for the cost associated with this i am probably going to stick around however looking at alternative options. I was hoping this was a great thing based on the horse and pony show in the beginning. Some days I miss my 20+ yr old access database.

Pros

Like the ease of duplicating loads.. Equipment management, initial customer support is good, however using the help desk is a hurry up and wait process. Support has given hopeful resolutions to issues but it is a considerable wait time.

Cons

really not configured for an owner operator based company. It is more based to a company driver.. you can make it work as i have however there is hoops you have to jump through like adding FSC to each load when you settle a load as well or accessorial charges. Fuel card integration partially works but does not pass along the fee and no way to add the card fee to the fuel transaction rendering the auto feature useless. Reporting is weak... Have experience with Mcleod and still prefer due to an all in package but it lacks for a Lease o\\o company. Company made a fix a few weeks ago for factoring and now my invoices are not as complete as they used to be and had to remove the factoring option all together.. yet invoices still print on the bottom payment should be sent to .........(its blank) Driver app is terrible.. Some drivers have stopped using and just use the text link..

We recently added a module for passing through billed items to OOs, though it might have a different structure than Mcleod. We’d love to help you set that up. On factoring and fuel card settings, I am hopeful updating some settings may help here as well. I’d like to better understand the feedback on the driver app. SMS is the most common dispatch method we see. Last, I take reporting feedback seriously. Today, we offer standard reports or scheduled data exports that you can pair with Power BI. That said, we are launching a business intelligence module for self-serve custom reports. It helped make things more efficient. I can manage 10 trucks in the same amount of time that I was taking to manage 2 trucks. 5x productivity. Everything is organized, so less stress, less uncertainty, and more work done.

Pros

Unlike other systems like Alvys and rose rocket, truckbase is much easier to use, and intuitive. UI is much cleaner, understandable on one look at the screen. I loved the invoicing process is very easy. The mobile app helps a TON, no more asking drivers to send BOLs via whatsapp or text messages. App tracks the whole movement. I can see the schedule of all trucks and all drivers on 1 screen. Helps in managing. Pay tracking is also very easy. Overall, it's just much easier to use than other systems I have used. No unnecessary complexity.

Cons

There is nothing I disliked. But there might be features that can be added that would make it better for example: 1. For each load, history of the changes made to that load so that any employee that makes changes to that load can later be asked exactly why that change was made. For ex: why was this load invoiced when BOL had not been uploaded. (Can enforce accountability) important to prevent mistakes. 2. Showing a map of where the driver currently is using the phone's location instead of the logbook, because some trucks that run locally under 150-mile radius don't use logbooks. These are just features that would improve it further. Even without them, I am very happy with the product.

9 out of 10. Nobody is perfect, but these folks keep working at it to fix issues and solve problems.

Pros

Overall the ease of use of the product coupled with back end support by a team that actually cares. When we actually have any issues, they help and solve problems. The integrations with GPS, logs, and QuickBooks makes for a good experience.

Cons

Settlements, but we are working on that. I need to be able to easily pay driver's and owner operators off of the same load. I believe that's coming in Q2

AMAZING!! From the start of the process till now and we are 4 almost 5 months in using the software.

Pros

Our team would 100% recommend Truckbase! It has made our lives in dispatch way easier. I was a skeptic at first you can even ask Holden, our sales rep. I for sure thought that the AI load confirmation entering would have so many errors and I would be right back to hand entering loads. We did settle on the EDI as well, game changer! No more tracking shipments, it's only uploading the POD for the customer on their portal. It's fantastic having all dispatch and billing in one single app. We can pull up the BOL's in seconds for the customer or broker requesting them. Truckbase has wonderful customer / technical support!! Vlad has helped me right away when I have any questions :)

Cons

A messaging center for drivers. Hoping to them directly and as a whole mass message. I was informed that are working on that.

Pros

Overall, we really love Truckbase and it's been extremely helpful in streamlining our operations! It's user friendly on both the dispatch/administrative side and easy to use for drivers. Customer support has been 10/10. We're assigned a responsive Account Manager and any time I've had a support question or issue, the support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. All in all, a great value.

Cons

I wish the reporting functionality was a little bit more robust. There are general reports given, but it would be night to be able to drill into them further and customize them.

Pros

Truckbase is extremely user friendly, and has the reports we need. The customer service is top notch! Our drivers also have no trouble using the app, which makes our lives so much easier.

Cons

I think the hardest part was figuring out what reports included the information we needed, but once we got that down it was very easy to use.

Between the setup, ease of use, and customer support along the way. I'd say we are pleased we decided to go with Truckbase as our TMS.

Pros

It's simple, easy to integrate into our operations, and saves us time. The first impression I got was thankfully not a false one. Truckbase is user-friendly, not overly complicated, and for a small asset-based carrier, a big time saver!

Cons

The one feature I suggested is that they develop the driver app to prompt drivers at each stop to take a picture of the freight versus being open ended with it still being up to the driver to rember to take pictures at each stop.

Excellent. The customer support team has been very good, always getting my feedback as to what they can add to the system.

Pros

Truckbase is very intuitive, and efficiently designed for small to medium sized carriers. It has helped us connect our customer booking, dispatching and invoicing into one simple, easy, fast and professional workspace. It's record-keeping and driver apps have been a huge asset to establishing our reputation and transparency to our customers. It is a huge time saver, and decreased liability through the use of signatures, timestamps, and POD on the driver apps, which stands as excellent backup for any problems which may arise. The customer portal has been a great selling point for potential clients, and continues to please them with every order. The integration with quick books took our invoicing process from 3+ hours to 15 minutes. Another very useful integration is with our ELD, which connects vehicle tracking to the customer portal for each order.

Cons

No complaints at all. Truckbase is very well rounded, and simplifies all the important operational factors which has helped us run our operation much more efficiently.

One of the things we like most about Truckbase is how user-friendly it is. You can easily understand how to navigate the program.

One thing we find difficult to deal with when using Truckbase is that it isn't always accurate when entering loads and we have to double-check everything. Another thing would be the use of filters, they do not save and you have to re-enter your filters each time.

I was sceptical, I wasn't sure if it would really work for my company, but for a really small amount of effort and 1 week time , training my driver's, I have my life back, I cannot believe how much truckbase has changed my life.

Pros

How helpful they were from the demo through the setup process, any time I had a problem they always had a solution

There hasn't been anything to not like.

Truckbase has provided an affordable solution to our transportation management needs. It does what it needs to in an easy to use package.

Pros

Truckbase is very user-friendly for dispatchers and drivers. When we see a feature that could use some improvement, the team at Truckbase is eager to get working on a fix. The seamless integration with Quickbooks Online is vital to our company.

Cons

The driver settlements feature can use a few tweeks, but the Truckbase team is actively working on them. Also, fuel uploads and BOL creation is missing, but they should have them working in the next few months.

After one month I would say overall very good. Can easily add multiple stops and the data entry process takes little time and effort.

Pros

Ease of use. The order entry and editing of orders is very simple and easy to follow. Very easy to teach and modify to needs.

Cons

That orders stay on the boards forever. I would like the orders to drop off based on certain milestone status', such as once an order is ready for invoice, I would like it to drop of the dispatch board in the table view.

When we first started looking for a dispatch system, our way of communicating with drivers on their load info was to take a picture of the rate con and text it to the drivers. We knew this wasn't feasible any longer. When we found Truckbase, they had a perfect answer for what we needed. And their customer service is top tier! We have been using for over a year and it has been wonderful!

Pros

The product itself is amazing and so easy to work with, but the real highlight is their customer service! They are always ready and available to help or answer questions!

Cons

Honestly, so far, we have had no cons. Everything is working great for us!

### "Truckbase isn't just software..."

Overall, I love using Truckbase and working with their team. I feel like we are not just another sale, that we and our opinions matter to them. It is what puts them well above their competition.

Pros

After extensive research we recently moved to Truckbase and I haven't regretted it at all. It has streamlined my invoicing process, the calendar view allows me a nice weekly overview of what my drivers are doing, and the most important part is the Truckbase team. They are extremely receptive of new ideas, always respond to questions timely, and are just an amazing group of people to work with. I also like that they are continuing to grow and I look forward to the future integrations.

Cons

I wish there was a change to the rate field so that I could enter in $x per ton/bushel/etc. and it update automatically instead of having to figure it manually. It would be a huge timesaver on my end.

### "Amazing software and owner."

Everything is in one place, who doesn't like that- in this business especially! Truly, I have no complaints. Since we are a company testing it, there has been some minor bugs/things that need to be fixed. Every time I have mentioned an issue to \[sensitive content hidden\], it is always resolved and/or teaches me on what was done wrong. This software has helped our business become overall more organized and has brought in a stronger team environment as well. We can all see at all times what each driver is/will be doing. Just an amazing software with great people behind it.

Pros

This software is so easy to use and manage. Having the ability to all look at the same thing within the team when we are referring back to a specific load is so helpful. Especially at times when I'm not in the office, or we haven't received a driver's paperwork yet. The scan tool on the drivers end for BOLs has made this process even better than it already has been. It's just so easy to implement into a team, \[sensitive content hidden\] has done an amazing job with this.

Cons

My only complaint would be that some addresses are incorrect, or there's multiples of the same location (user error) and I'm not able to delete the ones that are wrong/we don't need. I did hear through the grapevine that this is something they are working on, so that will be awesome!

With Truckbase, I know that we are in good hands with the team they have. Any questions, they are very prompt and professional, and they will get us the information we need quickly.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] and his team always looking out for the best interest when it comes to the dispatch software, updating weekly and adding new items to help not only the drivers, but dispatchers.

Cons

There are no Cons. They are very Stright forward and they have the best interest in mind when talking to you.

I have even helped out another potential customer of Truckbase, looking to integrate their trucking needs to an easier platform. \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team continue to work with us on our needs for a better platform for us to use as well. Ten out of Ten will recommend Truckbase to anyone needing better trucking software."

Love it and would highly recommend it if you're looking to save time, money and stress. And the customer service is top notch in my book.

Pros

After we switched to Truckbase, getting the information and permits to the driver and escorts has become much simpler and more effective. Any problems we have it's as simple as a phone call or email to get it resolved. Definitely worth the time and money. Keeping track of all your past and upcoming jobs for dispatch has become a breeze. And learning the system was as easy as an in-person meeting and then playing with the system.

Cons

The two things I found, was corrected by the truckbase team immediately with one phone call. And with their immediate response it's better than previous systems or programs.
