October 8, 2026 5.0 I was able to work through a few minor issues because \[sensitive content hidden\] has been great about giving me answers to questions both big and small. I would estimate our work flow is now almost 50% faster, especially with the integration with Quickbooks. I wish that I had found Truckbase years ago. Pros I had been looking for quite a while for a software system to replace our old trucking software. I finally found Truckbase and within the first 2 meetings I was very sure it was our new best choice. The onboarding process was smooth and \[sensitive content hidden\]and the guys were very supportive and available to assist us in getting up to speed quickly. It covers every part of our heavy haul operation and there are still more functions that I can work in and improve as we go forward. Cons This is really not a con about Truckbase, but I realized about halfway through the process that it would have been easier to not switch over during our busiest season. The good news is we are now completely running on Truckbase and everything is going great and working better than it ever has. It makes our day to day operations so simple and organized. Pros Truckbase is extremely user friendly, and has the reports we need. The customer service is top notch! Our drivers also have no trouble using the app, which makes our lives so much easier. Cons I think the hardest part was figuring out what reports included the information we needed, but once we got that down it was very easy to use. Nobody is perfect, but these folks keep working at it to fix issues and solve problems. Pros Overall the ease of use of the product coupled with back end support by a team that actually cares. When we actually have any issues, they help and solve problems. The integrations with GPS, logs, and QuickBooks makes for a good experience. Cons Settlements, but we are working on that. I need to be able to easily pay driver's and owner operators off of the same load. From the start of the process till now and we are 4 almost 5 months in using the software. Pros Our team would 100% recommend Truckbase! It has made our lives in dispatch way easier. I was a skeptic at first you can even ask Holden, our sales rep. I for sure thought that the AI load confirmation entering would have so many errors and I would be right back to hand entering loads. We did settle on the EDI as well, game changer! No more tracking shipments, it's only uploading the POD for the customer on their portal. It's fantastic having all dispatch and billing in one single app. We can pull up the BOL's in seconds for the customer or broker requesting them. Pros After we switched to Truckbase, getting the information and permits to the driver and escorts has become much simpler and more effective. Any problems we have it's as simple as a phone call or email to get it resolved. Definitely worth the time and money. Keeping track of all your past and upcoming jobs for dispatch has become a breeze. And learning the system was as easy as an in-person meeting and then playing with the system. Cons The two things I found, was corrected by the truckbase team immediately with one phone call. And with their immediate response it's better than previous systems or programs. I would recommend to other trucking companies. Such an easy platform to learn and use. Pros When I first reached out to TruckBase, everyone I contacted was extremely friendly and responsive. I found that their product was one of the only ones on the market that had an easy to use platform, good value for the price, and the AI PDF importer. I save so much time by not having to hand type everything from my rate confirmations into TruckBase. If a RC does not read properly, I can send it over to support for it to be "trained". They are proactive in getting things right for the customer. The team updates you when they are having updates or any bugs in the system that slow it down. TruckBase consistently checks in on the company to make sure that we are satisfied with their product. The possibilities seem endless with what TruckBase has the ability to do. We are a smaller company with less than 20 drivers, mostly owner-operators. Cons I wish the AI PDF importer was able to use from handheld devices or my iPad. It would make it easier to use for on the road. Very user friendly and easy to use. Building loads, tracking, and invoicing in Truckbase could not be any easier and time saving. Pros Truckbase has been a very beneficial addition to our overall dispatch experience. Cuts down a lot of time with paperwork and it is extremely user friendly, and the learning curve is simple. Truckbase is also very helpful with driver dispatch and management and the ability to monitor shipments and deliveries with GPS tracking from beginning to end of each shipment. It has made my job much easier dispatching and keeping up with orders. I also appreciate that the drivers can just update in the app instead of having to text my phone. Pros Being able to dispatch orders to the drivers and view orders. Makes it easy to get the uploads from drivers. I also like that I can send a driver a message when I need them to upload something particular. Cons Sometimes AI does not capture all the information for dispatching. Issues with drivers being able to mark dispatches to transit and delivered. Wish there was a way for drivers to communicate back. I'd say we are pleased we decided to go with Truckbase as our TMS. Pros It's simple, easy to integrate into our operations, and saves us time. The first impression I got was thankfully not a false one. Truckbase is user-friendly, not overly complicated, and for a small asset-based carrier, a big time saver! Cons The one feature I suggested is that they develop the driver app to prompt drivers at each stop to take a picture of the freight versus being open ended with it still being up to the driver to rember to take pictures at each stop. Truckbase has literally saved us 20 plus hours per week in duplicate tasks, order entry, dispatching, billing, etc. The driver scan feature allows us to invoice almost immediately once the load is delivered, speeding up cash flow up to a full 7 days on loads that deliver on Mondays. The software and app are very user-friendly, allowing smooth implementation even with our older, less tech-savvy drivers. Customer service is superb in making sure we are satisfied, fixing/helping us through any issues that arise, and asking for suggestions on improvements. And they are constantly innovating. 2 updates with very useful features have come out in the less than 2 months we have been using the software. Pros Simplifies order creation, dispatching, paperwork collection and billing. Integrates with Geotab and Quickbooks Online. Notifies customers with load status changes. Superb customer service and continued innovation Cons We have experienced a few bugs, but their team is very quick to correct them. Really, nothing significant. TB has saved me so many hours in nagging drivers for proofs, invoicing, settlement creation, etc. I love the integrations with QuickBooks and our factoring company as well. I would say this software easily saves me 20 hours a week. Pros There are many things I live most about Truckbase but the ones that are top of mind would be: User friendly, proof of delivery scanner for drivers, rate con import AI, invoice QA integration, and incredible over and above customer service. I get my questions answered quickly and their team proactively checks in with me to make sure our transition is going well. It's a tough pill to swallow when you have to start paying for something new. As our company scales, Google sheets was no longer sufficient and this is where Truckbase took the torch to help us move forward and grow more easily. It is a great platform created and maintained by a great team. Pros The ease of use, quick helpful support, and willingness of management to understand and implement reasonable feature requests. Cons There are minimal integrations - although Truckbase is continuing to add more (such as recent fuel integration with Wex/EFS). Price is very high. No monthly or even quarterly fee structure. It streamlined key dispatching tasks and made it easy to track loads, drivers, and documents in one place Cons While the platform is generally user-friendly, there were a few features that felt limited or not as customizable as we needed for our specific workflow. One improvement I’d really like to see is separating trucks and trailers into their own tabs, similar to how the Team tab divides drivers and dispatchers. Right now, having them grouped together makes it harder to manage and locate equipment quickly. A clear separation would make things much more organized and user-friendly. Cons I came from a different TMS system and in their system you could search select things and such as order numbers or last four of socials to find orders or drivers which was super nice.
