Cons Do to our specialized hauling services we are having difficulty sorting through some of the duplicate commodities. I would recommend to other trucking companies. Such an easy platform to learn and use. Pros When I first reached out to TruckBase, everyone I contacted was extremely friendly and responsive. I found that their product was one of the only ones on the market that had an easy to use platform, good value for the price, and the AI PDF importer. I save so much time by not having to hand type everything from my rate confirmations into TruckBase. If a RC does not read properly, I can send it over to support for it to be "trained". They are proactive in getting things right for the customer. The team updates you when they are having updates or any bugs in the system that slow it down. TruckBase consistently checks in on the company to make sure that we are satisfied with their product. The possibilities seem endless with what TruckBase has the ability to do. We are a smaller company with less than 20 drivers, mostly owner-operators. Cons I wish the AI PDF importer was able to use from handheld devices or my iPad. It would make it easier to use for on the road. Truckbase has literally saved us 20 plus hours per week in duplicate tasks, order entry, dispatching, billing, etc. The driver scan feature allows us to invoice almost immediately once the load is delivered, speeding up cash flow up to a full 7 days on loads that deliver on Mondays. The software and app are very user-friendly, allowing smooth implementation even with our older, less tech-savvy drivers. Customer service is superb in making sure we are satisfied, fixing/helping us through any issues that arise, and asking for suggestions on improvements. And they are constantly innovating. 2 updates with very useful features have come out in the less than 2 months we have been using the software. Pros Simplifies order creation, dispatching, paperwork collection and billing. Integrates with Geotab and Quickbooks Online. Notifies customers with load status changes. Superb customer service and continued innovation Cons We have experienced a few bugs, but their team is very quick to correct them. Really, nothing significant. TB has saved me so many hours in nagging drivers for proofs, invoicing, settlement creation, etc. I love the integrations with QuickBooks and our factoring company as well. I would say this software easily saves me 20 hours a week. Pros There are many things I live most about Truckbase but the ones that are top of mind would be: User friendly, proof of delivery scanner for drivers, rate con import AI, invoice QA integration, and incredible over and above customer service. I get my questions answered quickly and their team proactively checks in with me to make sure our transition is going well. Cons I haven't been able to get use out of it from my phone, but I also forgot to ask \[sensitive content hidden\] if there is something I should be doing differently. Trucking Hub was a little cheaper but didn't have all the features like integrations quite rolled out yet and the developer was wearing all the hats. Pros Truckbase has been a very beneficial addition to our overall dispatch experience. Cuts down a lot of time with paperwork and it is extremely user friendly, and the learning curve is simple. Truckbase is also very helpful with driver dispatch and management and the ability to monitor shipments and deliveries with GPS tracking from beginning to end of each shipment. It solved a lot of our operational and administrative headaches. As our company scales, Google sheets was no longer sufficient and this is where Truckbase took the torch to help us move forward and grow more easily. It is a great platform created and maintained by a great team. Pros The ease of use, quick helpful support, and willingness of management to understand and implement reasonable feature requests. Cons There are minimal integrations - although Truckbase is continuing to add more (such as recent fuel integration with Wex/EFS). Price is very high. No monthly or even quarterly fee structure. It has made my job much easier dispatching and keeping up with orders. I also appreciate that the drivers can just update in the app instead of having to text my phone. Pros Being able to dispatch orders to the drivers and view orders. Makes it easy to get the uploads from drivers. I also like that I can send a driver a message when I need them to upload something particular. Cons Sometimes AI does not capture all the information for dispatching. Issues with drivers being able to mark dispatches to transit and delivered. Wish there was a way for drivers to communicate back. The customer support team has been very good, always getting my feedback as to what they can add to the system. Pros Truckbase is very intuitive, and efficiently designed for small to medium sized carriers. It has helped us connect our customer booking, dispatching and invoicing into one simple, easy, fast and professional workspace. It's record-keeping and driver apps have been a huge asset to establishing our reputation and transparency to our customers. It is a huge time saver, and decreased liability through the use of signatures, timestamps, and POD on the driver apps, which stands as excellent backup for any problems which may arise. The customer portal has been a great selling point for potential clients, and continues to please them with every order. The integration with quick books took our invoicing process from 3+ hours to 15 minutes. Another very useful integration is with our ELD, which connects vehicle tracking to the customer portal for each order. Cons No complaints at all. Truckbase is very well rounded, and simplifies all the important operational factors which has helped us run our operation much more efficiently. One improvement I’d really like to see is separating trucks and trailers into their own tabs, similar to how the Team tab divides drivers and dispatchers. Right now, having them grouped together makes it harder to manage and locate equipment quickly. A clear separation would make things much more organized and user-friendly. We knew this wasn't feasible any longer. When we found Truckbase, they had a perfect answer for what we needed. And their customer service is top tier! You can easily understand how to navigate the program. Cons One thing we find difficult to deal with when using Truckbase is that it isn't always accurate when entering loads and we have to double-check everything.
