Why? Because they were billed from Truckbase BEFORE we integrate with QuickBook online. No one told us about this scenario, of course…They sold us a flawless cooperation. Pros I am still looking for any feature that I would like about Truckbase. Cons No training videos available, you need to call/email and wait for response. Everything takes forever, and not too much organized. They offer 30 minute sessions, then they send you a recording of the session. That’s all you can use. Other companies offer: chat, customer service, on-site training, FAQs…just to name a few. We haven't fully transition yet as we are still working with the team to implement some of our requests. Pros Having the ability in the all loads tab to search by criteria is a nice feature. Cons Not having the ability to just have the driver pay auto calculate at all times once a driver is assigned is a downfall. July 5, 2023 5.0 Overall, I love using Truckbase and working with their team. I feel like we are not just another sale, that we and our opinions matter to them. It is what puts them well above their competition. Pros After extensive research we recently moved to Truckbase and I haven't regretted it at all. It has streamlined my invoicing process, the calendar view allows me a nice weekly overview of what my drivers are doing, and the most important part is the Truckbase team. They are extremely receptive of new ideas, always respond to questions timely, and are just an amazing group of people to work with. I also like that they are continuing to grow and I look forward to the future integrations. Cons I wish there was a change to the rate field so that I could enter in $x per ton/bushel/etc. and it update automatically instead of having to figure it manually. They are engaged, responsive, and helpful. They even flew out for an all-day training of my operations team to ensure a smooth transition to the system. We have had no issues with the system outside of a few bugs that were promptly fixed. I can't recommend them enough. Pros Truckbase has a phenomenal interface which makes training and change management a breeze. Having come from the tech industry where the majority of employees are technically savvy regardless of interface, I knew ease of use would be the biggest determining factor of a successful implementation. Luckily for us, Truckbase has more than delivered. On top of the product, the team is always willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Cons To get nitpicky, I do wish that I had a little bit more flexibility in the system from an admin perspective. It would be nice to have access to more granular settings or even grid-like bulk updating features. However, it is so easy to get lost in providing a million features, so I would pick Truckbase 10/10 times over a system like McLeod. February 5, 2024 5.0 Our overall experience with truck base is positive and we enjoy growing with Truck Base for the foreseeable future. Pros Truck bases ease of use hits itbour of the park for us. We can at a glance tell prospective clients what our numbers are kust off the front screen! The ease of dispatching has improved our time on getting load entered and dispatched to the driver to almost instantly after a load is booked. Drivers love it too cause everything comes in a tect message and they can upload there paperwork right there. Gone are the days of cam scanner and transflow for paperwork tracking. Over all truck base has stream lined our operation tremendously and we look forward to a long relationship with \[sensitive content hidden\] and the team at Truck Base Cons Settlement could be enhanced but you guys know my input on that. It has helped me a lot. I save more time and make less errors. Pros It helps to keep track of the loads and decreases the time that I spend invoicing and making driver settlements. Cons It’s not easy to use. When you make a mistake, then you usually have to start over. Basically don’t make any mistakes or you will be wasting extra time for sure going back over what you worked on before you made the mistake. I also don’t like how we don’t have the option to include or exclude information on settlements, customer load number doesn’t automatically generate on the invoice portion, the commodity portion doesn’t automatically generate on invoices and these are all things that I have to manually type in. Also, the ease of using the program and being able to use it from anywhere that I can access the internet is a huge plus. Cons The only current negative I have, and I know they are working on, is the access from a phone. The format that you see the information in requires one to scroll through all of the loads and information input to find the loads that i'm looking for. I'm interested in a filter feature and a search by field to quickly access loads for a specific driver or load number or even location. I am happy to support the growth of an industry provider that is simplifying the workflow. The support team is very attentive and responsive and that I feel is one of the key perks. Pros What I like most is the ease of use, it doesn't take long to enter a load in, notify the Driver, or track the progress of the freight. There is nothing overcomplicated and not an overwhelming number of features. Cons The thing I like least about the software is the tracking is an add on feature increasing the cost of the subscription. Cons I think it can do a better job of automating inputing information from the rate cons and show up better on the mobile phone for the directions. Their quick response to feedback is impressive. Pros Truckbase is a very user friendly TMS. They have set themselves apart by being simple, yet relevant. Their new load entry feature is straight forward and to the point. The txt based communication with drivers is also easy to implement without having to download an additional app. Cons Truckbase does not offer a lot of reports yet. However, they are actively working to develop this aspect of the software. Their development team is visibly attentive to suggestions and recommendations as they continue to add new features. If you run a small trucking company you need this product.
