Pros The system itself is typically very robust and we have had few issues, however, when they have cropped up the support team has been incredible. They have been incredibly quick with responding to all requests/queries and nothing seems to be too big an ask or too silly for them to consider. Every individual I have encountered from Skills Arena has been brilliant but I would specifically like to mention \[sensitive content hidden\], very knowledgeable in his field and always on hand to support! Cons The only thing for me is the reporting, but this is more due to the integration we have with our other system rather than a Skills Arena issue. Pros From start to finish the platform is easy to navigate, very user-friendly and has enabled us to assess our candidates in a quick efficient manner. With the tests automatically marking, our recruitment process time has been halved. We are quickly able to check which candidates meet the requirements for the job allowing us to shortlist the right people for the role. Cons No cons, it's easy to use, the test range is great. They always want to go the extra mile to support our business and take time to explain features and benefits very carefully. Pros Secom use the system for an array for features and predominantly for Personality Profiling. It provides an excellent insight into the candidate makeup and one that you may not ordinarily see during the interview process. It allows us to position questions to tease out salient responses from candidates who may not have ordinarily wanted to cover potentially difficult/weaker areas. The colour wheel also allows us to ensure that team members will work well together and complement one another. Cons I really cannot think of any major negatives. Reasons for choosing skillsarena The tests are easy to administer and the results are comprehensive, but not overwhelming. The team took the time to explain how their system would integrate and benefit Secom and were not overly pushy to close. There was/is a personal touch to Skills Arena that you simply do not find in many companies these days.
