Extremely helpful. Worth the money if you have a large enough fleet and a shop that does your own repairs for the most part.

Pros

Extremely useful in helping us to maintain our fleet. Helps us to diagnose and find the best way to repair an issue and make our fleet healthy.

Cons

There is a lot to learn. Can be a bit confusing when you're first learning how to navigate the software.

looking up parts and hours it takes to do the repair are the best. the customer service is excellent

the ease of looking up parts with or without a vin #. you can enter any part and it will find for you

Cons

i haven't found anything i dislike. I've used ALLDATA for about 5 years now and it is the best that i have used

its a good software and a good price don't know of anything better on the market at this time could use a few tweaks

ease of use and total control over all of your inventory over time sometimes its hard being so much cash is involved to know what parts are left on a unit especially if it was not entered correctly

sometimes it was very confusing and parts were not listed in a type of unit and you end up with a lot of misc tickets not having the correct stock number on than

Alldata was easy to use and had a lot of functionality, so much functionality that we were not able to utilize all of it so we ultimately switched to a lower cost provider because we are a smaller shop.

Pros

We liked how seamless the process was to integrate our Alldata repair data into our shop management software, the ability to easily switch between making estimates and invoices and reviewing repair procedures. For the most part, the program was responsive.

Cons

Alldata was not an all in one solution for us and we still needed to purchase additional repair instructions even though our shop is on the smaller side and works mostly on older domestics.

For the most part, it has ran smoothly.

Pros

The ease of looking at the history of a client is the thing I use and like the best .

Cons

Some of the windows are Slow to load(might be our internet)

Overall I would put this as the second best program we have found to ARI which is what we use now. But for the everyday mechanic or shop manager who is experienced shouldnt be a problem.

Pros

I really like Alldata's general knowledge for troubleshooting but the was some minor complications such as trying to find the correct category for certain things.

Cons

Confusing on categories when billing or doing shop orders.

Alldata was our first Software for our shop it was recommended and installed by our computer technology partner cause of recommendations.
