Overall I have had a good experience! I only use some of the functions right now, but it's very helpful.

Pros

It helps me keep properties, maintenance, and leases organized. I like that it tells me ahead of time when i will have leases expire.

Cons

I sometimes have trouble moving tenants out in the system. I notice this most in non-standard situations such as when not all roommates move out.

Pros

Still learning but I like the displays for each tenant. The ledger is my favorite display. The rent reminders for the tenants is a great idea.

Cons

So far nothing. Still in the learning phase.

This software makes my job much easier, I am happy about what they offer and their responsiviness' to every question I asked.

Pros

I am the owner of a management company with a small portfolio of rental properties (average between 10-15) This software is easy to set up and it makes it simple to manage rentals. It has all you need to run a smooth rentals business, starting from accepting applications to managing move in/move out processes, to keep track of the rent payments. In addition, their chat is very helpful to solve any issue you might have. I was really worried about managing the rentals considering the expensive software in the market but then I discovered Renter Insight. Definitely recommend Renter Insight for medium and smaller landlords! Pricing is quite low compared to the big boys like Buildium, AppFolio, DoordLoop, etc. who have high minimum buy ins.

Cons

None. I really do not have anything bad to say about the software and the company’s customers service department. Renter insight is a software easy to manage and it is affordable for small businesses.

Overall the experience has been worthwhile but we would benefit from additional features and a more user-friendly interface.

Pros

Ease of collecting rent payments, having a support person dedicated to our account, additional ability to report maintenance issues (but this feature could be expanded).

Cons

The platform is still not as user-friendly as it could be, there are a lot of features that are difficult to find/use.

Our experience with Renter Insight has been overwhelmingly positive. The company is responsive, helpful, and offers tremendous value to landlords.

Pros

Renter Insight has cut our annual management costs by $50,000/year. The software enables us to do all of the tasks (credit applications, screening, security deposits, payments, maintenance requests, billing, credits, accounting, etc) that we previously hired a reputable management company to do. After working with the previous management company for five years, we have realized that we were paying fees for analogue services that can easily be managed by Renter Insight. Our rental units were profitable, but Renter Insight has generated value that has gone directly to our bottom line. The team at Renter Insight is knowledgable, responsive, and helpful. All of my questions are responded to within the same business day.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about Renter Insight. I feel so grateful to have found this software.

Working with renter insight has been overall a great experience. Their team is very helpful.

Pros

I like that the tenants can also access the portal in order to view what they owe, make payment online, and submit maintenance request. This simplifies the management process to have everything located in one place.

Cons

The lease tracking is a bit confusing. I would prefer a tenants ledger to be continuous instead of separated by leases. It makes the renewal process difficult.

Pros

I enjoy how "simple" the system is while not loosing functionality/features. The system seems to be intelligently designed to meet the needs we have/typical rental companies have. Also, service has been beyond impressive. Anytime we had questions, the response time is immediate.

No real cons. I would just recommend have everyone involved in the initial training that will be using the system.
