Cons BestFile is shady. Nothing is specified on their website. here are just a few issues: What "strong encryption" are they using?Do they have access to the encryption keys? (i.e. Can you decrypt wo/ user account)How exactly does "sharing" work with encrypted data? Is that data not encrypted? Because if it is, and it can be decrypted by a public link, then they have access to the keys.Your Privacy Policy and ToS are as generic and bad as they can possibly be. No mention of how files are treated. Great copypasta (which I have nothing against when you're not dealing with actual PII and files whole claiming to be private). All I have to so is upload it to Bestfile and within minutes it generates a link which I can share with them to download.No security breach so far.
