Without a dedicated HR department in our business, it was so important that we found a system to help us easily manage all our processes in one place. Since implementing HR Planner, we’ve reduced the time we spend on HR by at least 40%, while colleagues have all commented on how much more intuitive the system is compared to ones we had used in the past.

Pros

Great user experience from an administrative perspective. The system makes it easy to keep track of things like holiday, absence and expenses, and notifies me of any requests so that these can be reviewed promptly. We have been able to completely personalise our HR Planner from both the business and employee side, meaning we see just the information we need.

Cons

I haven’t found any cons with HR Planner so far.

Prior to trying HR Planner, we had used various different platforms to handle our HR processes, but found that many didn't offer us the complete functionality we required. This meant that we were chopping and changing between different providers to manage various aspects of HR, including one system for holiday and leave management, and another for expenses, for example. We got in touch with HR Planner, explained our current position and organised a demo, before getting stuck in with their 14-day free trial. Given the company's statement on being designed specifically for SMEs, we were interested to see how this stacked up against our requirements and were immediately impressed! We weren't bombarded with dozens of features that we would never need as a small business, which made the software easy to navigate and get to grips with. The HR Planner team were there to answer any questions we had from the start, and we're pleased to say this hasn't changed in the months since we started using the software. Their customer service is second to none, and we're delighted with our experience to date.

Pros

The software is straightforward to use with a user-friendly, intuitive interface/dashboard that can be customised to how each user would like. Staff find it easy to book, modify and track holiday, as well as manage expense requests. It's incredibly cost-effective, at half the price of the software we were using before. The customer service we have received has been brilliant, with any questions answered in a timely manner - nothing is too much to ask!

Nothing! We are incredibly happy with our HR Planner experience so far.
