Pros Ease of us, smart scheduling options, variety of break type options, notifications and easy links to the live sessions. Cons There were issues with our initial SSO set up. Some wish there were live breaks longer than 7 minutes. Reasons for choosing Bright Breaks More live and interactive wellness resources, rather than articles, and better product for the cost. Our employees love how easy it is to find a break they want to take and have it added right to their calendar. Pros Enjoyable, bite sized breaks that are easy to fit in the busiest of schedules! Everyone at the company is an absolutely pleasure to interact with and work with. They are responsive to feedback and provide useful resources to promote breaks to employees. The Google Calendar integration is so easy to use and allows employees to connect virtually while prioritizing their wellbeing. The weekly challenges adds a level of competition that keeps things fun all around. Cons The only thing that I would improve (and they are working on improving it!) is being able to add and invite employees automatically to the platform via an HRIS integration. Still, at this time it's a simple process for employees to sign up with their email on their own. Pros Very easy to access and choose classes. Great for remote multination companies like ourselves. Easy way for us to bridge the geographic gap between our offices and have team members take "breaks" together. Cons I wish there was options or maybe one a week/month classes that were longer than a "break" (normally under 10 minutes). It would be nice to take an extended class to workout or do Yoga or something. Reasons for choosing Bright Breaks Gympass didn't give us the same flexibility for a remote first company compared to what BB offered. I absolutely love the teams I've worked with there, as well as the actual product itself. Pros Integrates right with your calendar, so you just set it and let it find slots for you. It's super easy and convenient! Cons Would love it if they could expand their topics a bit more into maybe some counseling and coaching sessions. They provided monthly resource communication scripts to use, I had an assigned customer success partner to work with and had a very detailed implementation plan. I highly recommend Bright Breaks as a corporate wellness program. Pros It was great to have the automated breaks show up on my calendar each day based on time slots that were open. Cons Since we were a smaller organization, we had a lot smaller chance to win the weekly challenges compares to the volume of employees from the other large organizations. Reasons for choosing Bright Breaks We really liked the automated integration with Outlook that allowed breaks to be placed on calendars based on open availability each day. Since we are a global company we liked the fact that they offered both live and on-demand sessions to cover all time zones options. They also offered a great variety of breaks that covered so many topics that employees could find something that worked for everyone. During the pandemic spectators were not allowed into sport facilities. During this time, I would be able to drop the kids off at their practice/games and I would join a Bright session while I waited in the car. Typically a meditation or a breathing class. (I still do this time to time) Cons I would like to see 'on demand' option supported on the mobile application. I am grateful to all of them each and every day. I go out of my way to try to evangelize because I honestly don't think there's anything better than Bright Breaks. Pros I am so incredibly grateful my employer includes Bright Breaks in our benefits package. It's made a huge difference in my life to be able to do mini workouts, 7 minutes at a time. My fitness level has improved so much from absolutely no fitness level in the nearly 2 years I've used the platform. Cons I wish there were more on-demand options—particularly the longer classes from before they started offering only 7-minute options. Just when I reached a fitness level that enabled me to be able to do longer breaks, they were no longer offered. :-( (It's still ok, I still get plenty of exercise—I just take more breaks to get me there!)
