Decision Focus always felt like an extension of our team more than a vendor. Pros The flexibility of the product and the speed of implementation and the ease of changes. The Decision Focus team is just wonderful to work with. They really do partner with you to help you implement the best solution for your business. Our users loved the DF product, in particular the look / feel and ease of use. The extensive reporting capabilities were also a favorite. Cons At first, we were unsure how their support hours would work for us. Decision Focus is based in Europe vs US for us. However, this very, very rarely became an issue due to the quality of the team and product. We feel valued as a client of Decision Focus, not just a number - which was the feeling we had speaking with other providers. Pros That Decision Focus did not try to force us to adapt their workflow/process/system. We reviewed other products that are more mature, but where we would have had to adapted our process to theirs. Decision Focus listened to what we wanted and made us feel valued as a prospective customer. We were also convinced by the licencing model which allows access to all modules. To get the same functionality with other providers would have have been several times the cost of the Decision Focus implementation, both at set up and on an ongoing basis. Cons There needs to be an acceptance that when you develop your own module with customised functionality it will take time and there may be some hiccups along the way. Proper planning and testing can mitigate this though.
