RideCo has provided us with excellent client service, positive results and excellent data for us to sustain positive results.

Pros

Immediate Positive Results. High level of launch support. Ongoing highly attentive Client Services quick response times.

Cons

There is nothing so far I dislike about RideCo. If anything when using reports would be nice if the page defaulted to today's date.

When we set out to modernize our paratransit service, it was essential that the software provider offered a user-friendly mobile app. Giving passengers the flexibility and independence to manage their own trips not only enhanced the rider experience, but also helped reduce the workload on our dispatch team, and RideCo’s Passenger App achieved exactly that! RideCo’s innovative solutions, including its robust automation capabilities have streamlined our daily operations by automatically reassigning rides when unexpected issues arise, such as temporarily removing a vehicle from service. Additionally, we are happy to see RideCo’s ongoing optimization has resulted in a higher percentage of shared rides and increasing vehicle efficiency.

Pros

RideCo’s Customer Support team has been amazing! They were quick to get our service up and running. Following the service launch, the team remained highly responsive in addressing product issues while also taking a proactive approach to enhancing the service through strategic initiatives and the rollout of new features. I also like RideCo’s reporting capability and how they provide access to lots of data that weren’t readily available with our previous legacy software. The availability of data has enabled us to identify a number of passengers living in rural areas who regularly use the service. This insight supported our application for a rural funding grant and significantly streamlined the process.

Cons

That we didn't utilize their service sooner. We needed a custom designed service to accommodate our needs and RideCo listened, and did everything we required.

RideCo has been our technology partner for over three years now - we're starting the fourth year of a five-year contract this month. There have been several updates to their operating system, and they've all produced new and valuable information that we really didn't know we needed. Our team recommended a few enhancements to our WeRIDE service during our first year of operation. RideCo took the information, worked through what our expectations were and how it would enhance our service and then wisely managed our expectations. We aren't their only customer, but our team has been treated with enormous respect and consideration. Upgrades and enhancements take time - and we respect the process. RideCo is very good at managing our expectations by identifying alternatives if needed or pointing us to other Microtransit providers that encountered similar situations and helped us understand the power of peers sharing these details. They're a technology provider but they know their market and their ability to deliver a full house of efficient reports that I can produce within minutes for my management team was an unexpected benefit of this partnership. The reporting capabilities are just WOW. I feel spoiled but I LOVE it!

Pros

Real-time, robust, detailed and highly relevant data is literally at my fingertips when I'm balancing so many other transit issues, requests for information and expectations. There have been so many times where I've received a request for data regarding the performance of our microtransit service and I've been able to provide the response within 24 hours because the depth of the data is deep, and instantly available through RideCo's operating system and dashboard. In most cases, I can find the information on my own but I do enjoy any interaction I have with the RideCo team because the response is always the deliverable with added information that enhances my outcome.

Cons

I can't think of anything. They're based in Canada and most of the time, I wish I was based in Canada.

Pros

What stood out to us most when evaluating RideCo was the scheduling flexibility and scalability. Our schedulers can now focus on other tasks like intake and dispatching. RideCo also had one of the best solutions to our reporting issues around multiple funding sources. They have made reporting more user friendly for us. Their ability to integrate with third-party software has been huge for us as well, especially since they manage everything, push updates, and keep the tech running smoothly. The customer support is excellent. We meet with them weekly, and they’re always quick to answer our questions or make changes based on our feedback.

Cons

RideCo has easily been the best fit for our vision. From the start, they’ve worked closely with us to implement KPIs and adapt to our operations. I’ve had no complaints. Whenever we bring up issues or ideas, they’re on it. Even features like editing trips, something we couldn’t do before without canceling and rescheduling, RideCo built that out for us. It’s clear they’re invested in helping us succeed and scale our pilot program across New Jersey.

As the Transportation Supervisor for the Town's On-Demand Commingled Transit Service, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with RideCo's platform, and it has consistently exceeded expectations. The software is intuitive and easy to use, making day-to-day operations smooth for both staff and riders. Its Google-based mapping provides accurate, real-time routing that enhances service efficiency and rider experience. Overall, RideCo has proven to be a reliable, responsive, and user-friendly solution for managing our on-demand transit services.
