It's stable and reliable with my system and rarely crashes it also handles complex C# AND C+++ codebase with ease on window's. It's a time saver. Pros What I did like most about JetBrains Rider is that is incredibly fast, responsive and a very powerful cross-platform IDE that outshine Visual Studio anyday especially with it's performance. The built-in Resharper features provide top tier static code analysis, instant refactoring suggestions, and deep code navigation without any lags that others usally have with external plugins. It's out of the box integration with Unity, Unreal Engine makes game development smooth, allowing debugging super easy and realtime script performance profiling.Customer support was always great when needing guidance. And it's great with 3d modeling and animation due to it's integrations. Cons I don't like the initial setup and configuration can be a steep learning curve with it's overwhelming of menu's, shortcuts and plugin options to navigate. It also has relatively heavy hardware requirements it relies on alot of ram when opening a large, multi-project enterprise solutions. And lastly while the licensing model is pretty fair, the individual suscription cost is still expensive for an individual delveloper working on a tight budget. The tool is the right choice for precisely this use case and, in my opinion, is far superior to competing products.
