Overall our organization is happy with our partnership because our feedback is taken seriously, and the gaps in the tech are filled by the LSM and CSM.

Pros

's integration with Rippling was the selling point for our team. We appreciate the system so far, and look forward to continued improvements within the integration space. Our customer success manager goes above and beyond to support our partnership, and ensures our concerns and feedback are heard and if there is an opportunity for Tilt to improves, works with the product team to do so. Tilt's dashboard makes it easy for employees and managers to keep track of a leave and the return to work process.

Cons

As we've scaled, lack of customization makes it confusing for employees who have unique circumstances. Would look to to offer more customization in the leave communications, resources section, and "other" types of leaves to ensure the appropriate tone is used for celebratory (sabbatical) or serious leaves (FMLA). I also wish there was more customization available in the required vs. suggested steps within the leave, to ensure every unique leave has the correct required steps but no unnecessary work on top of that.

The team is responsive but can tell is still test and trial. Overall, the team does try to provide you resolution even if it may take some time.

That is tracks the paperwork for you and send the proper forms to employees.

Cons

It’s still fairly new, as we’ve only had it for about four months. Changes and updates are made to the site regularly, but I wish they would notify us in advance about these modifications.

We are still new at using the system and adjusting our processes to align with Tilts process but as of right now I would say that it has been helpful.

Pros

It's a great easy way for employees and managers to see how many hours they have available. It's great for helping with leave approvals and paperwork.

Cons

For the state of AZ where there is no special paid leave laws the pay calculation is confusing for managers and employees. It would be great if HR was notified when a leave was approved instead of when a leave is built.

### "Everything a leave platform should be"

has been one of the best products we have ever implemented at our organization and we love to see how Tilt will grow over the years. We have an easy-to-use dedicated space to track all types of our company leaves. Our payroll team and the leave of absence team no longer have to use Excel files to constantly track an employee's leave. In addition, now managers are more intuned to their employees leave time frames as well as staying compliant with what they can and can't say to an employee requesting a leave or is on leave.

Pros

is easy to use for employees, managers, and HR teams. It simplifies the leave process and allows all parties to easily understand how a company's leave policy interacts with state and federal job-protected leaves. Having dedicated Leave Success Managers for an employee to speak with has tremendously improved overall employee experience as well. The pay calculations have tremendous for our payroll team as well who are completely in love with the platform!

Cons

Currently, a role-based permission is missing which is for HR Business Partners. If I were to add HRBPS's as HR users to they would be bombarded with every employee's leave updates instead of only the leaves that may be relevant to them. I would also like to see a feature of what kinds of notifications I would like to be automatically sent to my email vs just having it as a notification on the platform itself.

Voya had another more advanced leave system we toured and it was not impressive. It was very confusing and didn't have the simple view, such as the leave map, for employees to understand their leaves such.

Great! We've been using for 3 years now, it's a straight forward interface, has alleviated so much admin work!

Pros

Compliance documentation, payroll calculations, a detailed leave calendar, and our Leave Support Manager!

Cons

The integration with Rippling is still wonky - sometimes our payroll calcs are not accurate. Also there are still some communications that we send to employees and their managers introducing - would be great if we could incorporate this information into the system automatically.

As a whole struggling to maintain employee time off can be challenging . has assisted us with so much and helped us manager through work flow without leaving employee needs being a quick fix/solution.

All the employees are quick to assist with any employee matter. Turn around time is fast and efficient when needing explanations to better assist our team .

From an employer view , I would remove returned leaves from the active leave screen. It can appear confusing for someone that is not familiar with the software.

believes in continuous improvement by offering new and enhanced features like SFTP, support for military leave, a customer feedback portal, and ADA functionality. This shows that they are listening to their customers and incorporating our feedback and keeps us informed of their product roadmap. Their customer success managers are wonderful - very responsive, efficient and I really appreciate that they will create a customized video on loop to show us how to do something in just a couple of minutes replacing the need for a call and a lot of back-and-forth communication over email. The portal is clear and user-friendly.

I like the how easy it is to submit to leave. The leave form is straigtforward. Another strong component is the leave map. It is a quick, easy and visual way to see a high level overview of a leave. The reporting function is also accesible and easy to use

Cons

Inability to intergrate with HRIS systems- Currently many of the steps are manual are the system the not integrate with our HRIS system. It would greatly cut time spent on leave processing if information could flow both in and out of the platform into our HRIS system automatically.Room for improvement in the customer services area- employees would like access to a customer service rep outside of emails. Our employees have shared they would like consultations as part of the process to fully understand all of their leave options/recommendations

We are saving our teammates time, we are avoiding manual mistakes, we are working in a more organized way around leaves.

Pros

Easy to use for admins, employees, managers and payroll. The team was great during implementation and overall communication has been great during the time that we have been using . I personally really like how easy tracking leaves and changes has become. I also appreciate the peace of mind that we have knowing that Tilt is on top of law changes and we are compliant.

I have not encounter a difficult to use feature yet.

They are a HUGE solution for my day-to-day operations, leaves have become very frequent and as the laws continue to update throughout the country, it's so nice to not have to keep up and know we have matter-of-fact experts in place. They have also supplied data and benchmarking so I can propose new policies and procedures to help support our community better.

Pros

I love our team, \[sensitive content hidden\] make my life so much easier, they feel more like an extension of our internal HR team than an outside vendor. Managing leave is such a complicated space and it's so helpful to have them as an additional resource to assist with any complication that comes our way.

Cons

My only con is I want them to be International! I am appreciative of adding ADA currently, it is super helpful to not have to look into additional vendors.

We are thrilled. This is a sticky area for a smaller, 100% remote company, and solved all of our leave needs, provided employees and managers with fantastic support, and gave us confidence in our compliance.

Pros

We have a fully remote workforce, with employees across the US. This poses challenges for HR in understanding and correctly interpreting all of the state leave laws and compliance. We looked into leave vendors and we couldn't afford them - until we found . We have been so happy to find this all-inclusive, full service solution for a fraction of the cost others quoted. Tilt does it all and makes it so easy. The implementation team reviewed our handbook and asked really good questions to make sure everything was set up correctly (and gave us insight into areas where we could improve the handbook). They got us set up in record time and everything was so intuitive that we didn't need much help to launch three leaves of absence for our employees. After that, the leaves were taken care of for us, and we were confident that those going on leave were receiving excellent guidance and all compliance needs were covered. HR and our managers loved the amount of information they had and especially appreciated the leave map and the ability to understand leave law coverage, time off, and pay while on leave with a glance. Our employees were very happy to have had such great support.

Cons

We had wanted SSO, but it was added before we launched and was very easy for our IT to set up, so our list of cons is down to zero.

It never feels like we're 3 hours apart.\[sensitive content hidden\] is an amazing Customer Success Manager. She always stays connected with me, finds the answers to my weird off-the-wall questions, and supports our company any way possible.

Pros

I love how easy it makes tracking leaves of absence and the hands off approach it provides us on the People team. I don't have to calculate the leave time myself nor gather the required documents for the leave. does all of that for us. Also, Tilt calculates the upcoming pay checks so that our payroll team knows how much to pay them versus how much will be paid by state insurance and/or short-term disability.

Cons

It's sometimes finicky when adding new leaves if the person was already in the system as say a manager, but is now the person taking leave. It takes a few tries to get it to find the person from the Bamboo import.

### "Love Tilt!"

Pros

What I love about is how much time it has saved me from calculating leaves on an Excel Spreadsheet. I've used it at two companies now (introducing it to my current company) and it's really a great TPA for leave. Taking the heavy lift off my shoulders. My favorite feature is they communicate to the employee and the manager about the leave. So managers aren't left wondering when their employee is returning because I got busy!

Cons

I think one of the challenges I have had this go around is my assigned rep. I think I'm on my 3rd in a few months. The last one made a few errors which created more work for me with payroll. I would also like to get an integration set up with our HRIS since right now I have to manually add the employees. It's fine since we don't have a huge number of leaves though.

Amazing. We have had no issues with . They have gone above and beyond our expectations and have delivered excellent customer service both to our employees and with our management team.

Pros

The product is very easy to use. The customer service is outstanding. employees typically answer questions within 1-2 hours and are very helpful. The platform is very easy to use and even our "less technologically savvy" employees can use their system with ease.

Cons

I really do not have any cons. if we had to reach I wish that we could sort/down load a report by the HR admin who submitted the leave. I do not think we have this option yet.

We are able to manage leaves over multiple states and ensure that both our People Ops team, our employees, and our people managers have all the resources and support they need to have a seamless leave of absence experience.

Pros

What I like most about is the ease of leave of absence management from an HR admin perspective and the empathy that is built into the user experience and exemplified from our leave success manager. Its been a great user experience all around.

Cons

Because does not integrate with our HRIS (i.e. Time Off Requests, leave status updates, payroll process dates, etc.) there is still a bit of manual updating that needs to be completed. Tilt has great reporting and notifications so we've been able to incorporate these into our process and its working smoothly despite the manual aspects. However, these minor pieces outweigh the benefits in terms of Tilt managing the leave and leave timelines.

Overall, is a great LOA tool in managing and communicating leaves for our employees. The features have helped our team automate and speed up our management time which has been super helpful.

has been a perfect addition to our LOA process. We find the the following features super helpful:- payroll breakdown- employee/manager checklist- leave calendar - dedicated support team member for leaves

Cons

Although has been very helpful, the one challenge is having to channel communications between Tilt, our PEO and our employee at times. If there was some sort of integration there, it would streamline the communications aspect of the leave

has been great in helping us to manage our leaves without having to know the specific laws in every state that we have employees. They manage the payment process with our STD, LTD and payroll, as well as incorporate family paid leave in various states.

Pros

's customer support is great. They are knowledgeable and responsive. The system is also very user friendly and we never have questions from employees wondering how to use it.

Cons

The only negative was uploading previous paychecks but that has since been taken care of with a new integration feature.
