Comodo Reviews
"Comodo was good for us"
Overall: We really enjoyed using it. We used it as it is also a bi-product of using ITarian RMM. We only switched from Comodo when we switched from using ITarian, so that we could use a NGAV that was familiar to the RMM tool we chose.
Pros: We liked that Comodo was pretty simple to configure, and it allowed us to completely white-label the app and the installation tool.
Cons: Comodo can sometimes be extremely difficult to remove from a PC. Only Comodo integrates with Comodo. So, it isn't easy getting it to integrate with other RMM tools.
"Comodo a complete solution for security and management"
Overall: I use Comodo daily, not only for security purpouses, but also for troubleshooting as it allows, thanks to agent, to remote connect to devices and launch procedures. I warmly suggest to enable the containment feature, you will probably have to create trust rules to some app, but it will protect you from unwanted and risky file executions. Comodo is a complete solution at a very good price.
Pros: We use Comodo to protect our servers and clients and we use also Comodo to protects out customers devices. We have an RMM dashboard which displays all devices (grouped by customer name) and functions, so we can quickly interact with every single device or a group of devices. Every device has a profile which tells how the device should be protected, how many security modules contains, you can set rules and exclusions. You can launch scan (full, quick) from your dashboard, update database, connect to device thanks to agent, launch procedures. The agent installation is really easy. Just download the exe file and launch it. You can also deploy on several computer using the discovery and deployment tool. In the security section you will see all the traced events and you can choose what to do e.g. block, trust. In case of need you can open a request to Comodo support, they will reply quickly. You can find a lot of documentation on their web site.
Cons: sometimes the web interface does not load the right page
"Great all around product"
Pros: Very good integrations, quite advanced however. The highlight was the RMM feature, especially when it was free. It helped a number of MSP's get off the ground.
Cons: The pricing can be on the expensive side in comparison to other solutions and the tools are very professional friendly. Suited more toward second-line technicians.
"Wery good ITSM"
Pros: Local sandbox. Remote desctop. Ticketing system.
Cons: Local sandbox is a little bit paranoid.
