It gives you information about different deals on campus or in the area and it allows you to save money as a broke college student. Cons The only thing about Abuzz that I’m not a fan of at all is how much the campus representatives post. " June 20, 2023 5.0 Pros Abuzz has increased our campus student outreach significantly since our launch of the platform. We are have found a major increase in student engagement for our events, job postings, career opportunities, etc. I love that we can also reach our students, in real time. We can send out reminders of our events knowing that students have their cell phones and will be reached. It has significantly changed the way we can market our events and resources to students and has allowed us to make great strides within our office. Cons I do hope to see being able to attach documents in other formats rather than jpeg. Often our marketing doc's come to us in other formats and we then have to switch it before we can attach and post. The chats are within so many sub menus that they are difficult to access. Abuzz needs better notification management, like if I prefer to be notified in my groups but not for campus-wide announcements. Group creation, moderation, and management should make sense. Announcements and posts made by the Abuzz admins should be stored somewhere so if I close the banner they're not gone forever. A proper event calendar should be accessible to all users, even if admins have to approve events added to it.
