VERY GOOD! Would absolutely recommend trying it, especially for single site or smaller operators to use the Pilla templates for their operational checklists. As an owner, it helps you be able to have a day off here and there and know procedures are being followed!

Pros

It's clarity of presentation, the thought that has gone into it, and above all else, the approach of \[sensitive content hidden\] and team to develop the product to improve it so it fits our needs.

Cons

Everything we've had issues with the Pilla team has worked to resolve.

Price and lack of development - too expensive and lack of economy of scale. Trail customer service was pretty good but the Access Group is diabolically bad.

Transferring from our previous outdated compliance system seemed like a monumental task but the Pilla team made it feel seamless. With fast responses to any question and heaps of templates to help guide the set up what was need in each task we have been able to streamline our procedures and overall business.

Pros

Super easy to set up, use across all our sites and great for integrating training with all our teams!

Cons

It's taken a while to get to where it is but it was well worth the wait.

It was overcomplicated, messy, glitchy and hard to check that all the sites where completing the tasks to the standard we wanted.

So far my experience with Pilla is positive. My business will continue to use the platform for HR, performance and safety management.

Pros

I like that Pilla integrates all the features that I need as a business owner, but woudl have to buy separate products for. It makes it super easy to find and enrol new talent.

Cons

As a new platform I think there's still room for improvement. There's no native app, my staff has had a few issues logging in, checklists aren't as intuitive to use as I thought they would be. Having said that, \[sensitive content hidden\] is super responsive and I trust that all of this will improve quickly.

\[sensitive content hidden\] is always online with a speedy reply and is happy to help which makes all the difference. Like any new system being introduced to a team of 70 people who are used to something else, there has been a changeover process but it's been a good and positive one and as it's easy to use people have taken to it quickly. So far we just use the compliance/checklists side so can't comment on the rota system but looks good.

Pros

It's a great user-friendly system for our daily tasks

Cons

Nothing that can't be fixed, \[sensitive content hidden\] is always happy to help us out. One thing would be great is ability to more easily add tasks that apply to all sites (as we are multisite) rather than having to duplicate the task - but I am sure this is on the way!

We’re really happy with everything so far! \[sensitive content hidden\]'s great if we have any questions or need support. It’s all very easy to navigate and straight forward to amend.

Pros

You can tag specific people to action something and they’ll receive a notification straight away. I also like how straight forward it is to use.

Cons

The updates in the morning can delay completing a list of tasks. Once it refreshes it erases the tasks that have been marked as completed, only if you haven’t completed the whole list. It’s not a major issue, just a minor inconvenience.

We are pushing updates once or twice a week at the moment to make the very best product we can and we push those updates overnight so sometimes you will need to refresh in the morning. if you see the notification to refresh - make sure you do that before carrying out any checks and then you won't lose them

We used to use Pilla book but the App is much easier and takes up less room! It sends reminders and I can do it on my phone if the work iPad is busy.

Pros

It’s really easy to use, easy to edit, effective and really easy to implement for others.

Cons

Nothing- it does exactly what it’s supposed to

Reason for choosing Pilla

Liam is a great host and really easy to get hold of if you need help. Pilla is really simple, looks good, easy to use and that’s all I want when asking staff to complete it daily

It's just ok...if we could afford another more developed tool we might switch.

Pros

Got us up and running with contrast pretty fast

Cons

Rota features feel a bit manual, there's no way to work on them on a month basis rather than weekly, some of the functions feel clunky or counterintuitive. Also there's lots of times I'm working on the rota and I get a message that there's a new version of the page and need to refresh which is super frustrating because then I have to start again.

Nothing so far. Would be nice (but not necessary) to have a workplace forum to communicate with the whole company.
