I just wish it didn't limit how many hours i can download. Pros Riverside is straightforward and easy to use when it comes to having guest on the show and recording on the platform. Cons I don't feel i can edit how I would like to on the platform. Fortunately its easy to download the footage and edit with my preferred software. I have already recommended it to my husband who has signed up. I am glad I made the investment. It is well worth it. Pros Riverside has made getting started in podcasting super easy. The editor is easy to understand. It makes project creation a breeze. I love that is creates shorts/reels from long form content as well. Cons Sometimes the guest's video doesn't get uploaded completely. Both times I have been able to recover but it was stressful to encounter. I also know there is more because Riverside is always updating their software. Pros What I like most about Riverside is the ease of recording straight into Riverside and the ability to edit. All in one. I also like that Riverside seems open to hear what customers concerns are with trying to make podcasting better. Cons One thing I did find difficult. One time I deleted a project by accident that I thought was a clip and the entire project was gone. Riverside does not have access to deleted files. So we had to record again. It is easy for someone who's never touched editing software to understand and navigate. It is filled with helpful tools to help you learn how to edit and produce your own episodes. There is an option for all of your podcasting needs. Everything is organized and very well maintained. It is nice to know that everything you record is kept in one organized place. Before and after recording I find it easy to have meetings with my co-host through the live feed. For everything that is available on the website, I believe it is a great vaule, however for a new podcaster it is quite out of budget. It gives me security to know that everything I need is available in one place. So far I have not needed to reach out to customer service, however I imagine that they would take care of any issues that I have. Pros Riverside is a very well thought out platform to help podcast creators have the tools that they need all in one place. You can record, edit and host your podcast all in one easy to use space. Cons Once in a while Riverside has issues with connectivity. This typically only happens when we have a guest on. Since their newest update it has gotten a lot better. The more professional my videos look the easier it is to book guest. Pros It makes it easy to record and edit. It has been a game changer for my youtube channel. It also makes podcasting and youtubing more fun. Cons There really isn't a downside that I'm aware of. If I had find something to complain about it would be if the guest I'm interviewing logs off to quickly I have to have them retrieve their part of the interview. But that is easy to fix. It's been great for me to record and edit my podcast and other content about medical trauma. I didn't start with any podcasting experience and Riverside felt manageable for me to learn. I know there is so much more I could be doing with the platform and when I have a little bit of time I will learn how to do more with it. Pros I love the ease of recording my podcast and other content on Riverside. I started podcasting without any training and I've been able to learn as I go with Riverside. They have also consistently improved their platform over the past two years that I have been a customer. Which I haven't gotten super quick help from customer service, it has been kind and helpful. I highly recommend it. They have a Magic Clips feature which offers totally decent and automated clips from what you do, but you can also download the raw video/audio files and feed to Opus to get even more short clips for social. I love the download transcript feature too, because I feed that into Chat and ask for the 6 most important parts of the podcast and what timecode it's at, so now I can easily find 2-3 great clips to start my podcast with. Overall, it's a great value for all the tools you get. Pros Riverside is SO easy to use. It used to take me hours and hours to do a podcast manually (legit, 20-30 hours to edit audio and video). Now I can do it in about 30 minutes or less. Literally, the magic audio feature will shave 10-15 hours off your workflow, and helps your guests make up for not having a pro-quality mic. I've had guests just use their internal mic and Magic Audio fixes it. Taking out the Ums and Uhs is a single button click. Cons Not a lot of cons, honestly. Super intuitive. I had 3 podcasts out of 100 go janky, 1 was from a software glitch and 1 was an electrical storm (that one never got recovered and we had to re-record). 2 of them the service team helped me recover which was massive. Switched from [Zoom Workplace](https://www.capterra.com/p/144037/Zoom-Video-Conferencing/) [Google Meet](https://www.capterra.com/p/176572/Google-Hangouts/) Zoom and Meets didn't have the features and tools Riverside had. A buddy turned me on to it after he was on an interview with me and we were recording from Zoom.
