I haven't experienced any problems. Pros It is intuitive and so easy to use for both producers and guests. It's ability to overcome connection issues is very worthwhile and the quality is very high. Cons There really isn't much that is negative. May 19, 2026 5.0 So far, little to complain about, and if someone has a need for remote podcasting features, then they should get it. I'm happy, it enables me to record without fussing around, which, when your'e trying to be creative, is priceless. Pros I enjoy the ability to record remotely with my guest, and have everything in one easy to use platform. I enjoy the ability to normalize audio and make adjustments on the platform. It's just easy. It's much easier than trying to do it in some roundabout way. Cons I think the editing platform needs streamlining. I am an editor, and so I typically use davinci or premiere, and the riverside editor is only JUST passable, to the point where I don't want to export and drag it into a real editor. Customer service has generally been solid. Pros Ease and quality of recording for podcast guests and me. I can record a podcast with peace of mind, knowing Riverside it capturing our conversation in a way that will produce a strong final product. Cons At times, it won't allow me to manually change captions the way I need to. This has caused me to spend extra time looking for solutions, or need to just accept the captions as they appear. I'm still discovering new features, like they can autocreate a website for you. There's a lot to do to after publishing a pod and I can't imagine how much more work it would be without Riverside. Easily worth the money. Pros The deleting of words from video/audio is key. Basically their AI autocreates a transcript and then you can literally just delete the words and it deletes the audio/video. Very cool feature. I also like the magic segments that the AI autocreates for you which are generally so good that I don't look for anything else to grab people's attention on the socials. Cons I didn't push echo cancellation when recording one pod, and the AI tools weren't able to remove it in post. Was a painstaking process to remove all echos over a two hour pod, which seems like a simple job for AI. After each recording, all of my shows are quickly borken down into short form content both portait and landscape and I can quickly scan, edit, and publish and move on to the next recording. Pros Riverside is a complete one stop recording/editing suite with all the tools under one roof. You don't have to utilize multiple applications and wait hours for exports. Riverside gives you everything you need when you need it, and where you need it. Cons Coming from Final Cut, it took a little bit of time to adjust to the new interface but it was an easy transition. May 19, 2026 5.0 I use this service for my weekly webinars, my workshops, my masterminds with clients and this service works phenomenally for all uses. It makes the process simple. It is easy for guests to access. Has a great chat feature, allows for me to easily present with slides, has a teleprompter feature, and the sound quality is amazing. I can’t recommend this platform enough! Pros Riverside has fantastic ai features that automatically summarize your video, create social media clips automatically, and make editing your video almost effortless. Cons I don’t really have many cons because I really love this platform however I do wish there was a way to present my slides so that presenter notes could still be visible to me only while I am going through the presentation. That is a little prohibitive. " March 3, 2026 5.0 It's allowed me to expand my podcast by bringing on guests I could not otherwise interview in the quality I expect for my product. I feel it is priced very appropriately and affordable for a smaller podcast like mine. Also, my editor likes working with the files produced and it gives her the ability to manipulate the audio as needed. Pros Riverside is very easy to use, and the quality of the end product is excellent. I've used another product in the past, and Riverside is definitely a step up over that. I use it to remotely interview people for my podcast in both the US and abroad, and it always works seamlessly. Cons A few times I have had a question, and I sometimes feel that the help section doesn't address my question. However the online support is great. I’m not sure I would be able to do what I do on the scale that we do it without Riverside. Pros Riverside has grown so much in the two years I have been using them. The team is extremely good at listening to customer feedback and implementing solutions that solve problems and just make the creation process so much easier. Cons There are occasional syncing issues, but I can usually fix those in post production. They move quick too which is great, but I do have to look up how and why I should be using new features. I've found that the clips rated the lowest by the A.I. were our highest performing ones! Pros I have had multiple instances where my audio/video set up has not worked optimally, but with Riverside I was able to make my product look at sound amazing. It has saved me and my podcast countless times. Cons I don’t have much that I don’t like. However the only thing I will say is that sometimes the magic audio takes out necessary s’s and other vowels.
