I love that it records everybody's tracks separately; which makes for easy editing. The quality of videos is fantastic. It's a good value for the features you get, too! You have to redo your recordings 10000000x times due to issues with the system or glitches. I literally was so patient with them but I'm so done with this software. Literally run away and go find another company that makes real products. Even when I made mistakes, the system enabled me to fix the error. So far, it’s been a reliable and easy-to-use platform that I’d definitely recommend to anyone starting or running a podcast. Pros What I love most about Riverside is how easy it makes podcast recording. The platform is super user-friendly and connects to my Spotify for Creators Account. I can quickly set up a room, invite friends, and start recording without any hassle. It’s perfect for having natural conversations, even when we’re not in the same place. The Magic AI audio tool is honestly a game-changer; it noticeably improved my friend’s audio quality and made everything sound much more professional with minimal effort. The Creation of Magic Clips and even Magic Episodes are a time saver along with suggested Titles for Episodes. The Video Quality is wonderful and the Upload is FAST. I watched a lot of Youtube videos just to see what this software was even capable of. Then tried it and it was very easy as I already seen it on YouTube. My main point I was to stress is that I was dreading the editing process, but with the text based editing, it is so easy! And it is very helpful to show the pauses, and I can just click and delete it. Pros I like how the user interface is very beginner friendly. Then is there was something that I needed more clarity on, Riverside has tons of videos on YouTube. Cons I had trouble at first with a lot of stuttering or lag. I was using Chrome on my MacBook, and there was a lot of stuttering. Then I tried to use it on Edge, and that solved my stuttering issues. So I'm assuming with Chrome was just taking up too much data to use with Riverside on my setup, with the camera and lights running through the usb hub. Review Source KG Kimberly G. They have an incredible library of support videos on each topic you could need. It was a slight learning curve but I was up and running quickly. Pros I’ve been using Riverside FM for the past year. It’s incredibly easy to use, creates professional looking audio and video projects, makes editing incredibly simple, and it’s AI integrations work really well producing many extra shorts formatted for social media. Cons It’s definitely more expensive than I wanted to spend. However, after trying the free trial period I realized the quality was supreme. I ended up finding more clients to work with to justify the expense. Switched from [iMovie](https://www.capterra.com/p/207187/iMovie/) I needed a more robust editing platform. Riverside made it easy for this novice to record and edit short interviews of my team. The completed project was much more professional than I had imagined. Pros AI prompting and communication while editing. I was brand new to recording of any kind and was making a video for work interviewing my team mates. I found it user friendly and enjoyed the "host" option of my questions not being recorded. Cons It was a bit slow on my laptop but must have been on my side as it was much quicker when I logged on from a desk top. Cons Having to watch a lot of videos in order to get the answers to questions regarding editing. I would even pay more if there was an option to reach out to a person to ask questions. I would also pay for "tutoring services" if they were offered as well.
