Pros The variety of options to accomplish on this site with my videos. I do wish it had more to offer but over all it’s not bad at all. Cons The overall set up of the website is a little wonky. I wish it was a little easier to navigate in the “projects” folder. Example: now you can record with two people in the same room. Also the magic clips are helpful. Pros intuitive. It's easy to navigate and when I get stuck, you can reach out for help. It's so much cheaper and easier than sending the guests a phone to use and send back or dealing with guests who are not tech savvy. Pros The ability to record guests in HD quality using a remote software. This is the #1 feature for me and I love it. Cons Some of the editing features are not intuitive to me because I am DaVinci Resolve certified, so I prefer to export and edit manually. That said, the quality has been really excellent so far. I know there are so many more aspects of the service that I can build into, but even at my subscription level, the product gives me the best quality result that you can get on the market - the fact that the frame rate is consistent is EVERYTHING! Pros so easy to use. excellent customer support and absolutely the best product on the internet for what I need. Cons Can't do full screen when I have more than one 'Guest' on the call, which limits my team because we need to see what's in and out of frame. May 15, 2026 5.0 Love using for editing and recording because it speeds up the process of releasing episodes and editing videos Pros I love being able to record with guests and also edit in the same platform. The AI functionalities and tools make it so much faster to get my episodes out into the world. I also use it to edit other videos for my brand and I love that it's one tool I can use in many different ways. Cons It can be heavy and slow loading at times, especially with longer videos or when using the AI tools. The magic edits help the editing process dramatically. Cons Editing long-form content is clunky and often has numerous bugs. Things like implementing consistent backgrounds and trying to set markers on a timeline are frustrating. Both audio and video quality is great, and though I haven't tried them, their new AI features look very promising! Pros Having used both Zoom and to record remote podcasts, it is clear that Riverside's system is far superior for this kind of work. I've rarely had any issues having clients or guests use Riverside for their podcast recordings. the video quality is always great, the audio quality is always great, and being in control of things as the "producer" allows me to ensure the call goes smoothly for everyone. Cons I've noticed that the paywall seems to be shifting as of late - a few less features available for the price that I'm paying. And once or twice I've had recordings disappear. Sometimes support is able to dig them up, sometimes they arent. But that hasn't happened in a while!
