Payarc has worked with us to get us next-day business funding, lowered our fees, communicates when chargebacks spike, and they have worked with us on our reserve. I cannot say enough great things about this processor.

Pros

I love how Payarc really works with their merchants. They want each one to succeed and they will do what they can to make processing with them not only seamless but also as enjoyable as possible. They make wanting to switch to a different processor undesirable.

Cons

I would love if they updated their chargeback/dispute dashboard. It can get pretty messy in there and it makes it challenging to keep it all straight. For example, if a 2nd/pre-arb comes in, it's impossible to tell if we have the option to rebut or if the case closed. They are both displayed as an open 2nd. Also, I feel like the status on the disputes aren't very accurate either.

My overall experience with Payarc has been that of a miserable one. The customer service department is slow to take care of merchant issues, the technical support team seems to like the basic working knowledge of many of the technical details for most of its equipment offering, the account manager rarely has the answer and is slow to get back to me if he follows up at all, the risk department seem to misquote deposit dates after a merchant's funds have been diverted, underwriting's criteria seems to change with the wind, and the executive staff's word (in my opinion) should NEVER be trusted. These guys can talk a monkey out of his banana. Then you rarely, if ever, hear from them again. BE CAREFUL dealing with PAYARC!

Pros

In the beginning of the relationship they needed new agents to come aboard so they were very welcoming and signed an agreement they no longer honor.

Cons

They changed the residual split. In my opinion they were stealing from their ow n agent. Every time we reconciled the residual statements with the schedule A there were discrepancies. Payarc would bill merchants for services they did not sign up for so we had to continually call and have them removed. Starting in Oct/Nov 2025 they started invoicing merchant after the merchant terminated services. When the merchant refused to pay the invoice, Payarc would turn around and deduct those fees from the Agent residuals. The invoices were large amounts, often thousands of dollars. I found out that there is a prominent law firm in South Florida investigating Payarc for a class action lawsuit. Several of my merchants have been contacted so I spoke with the firm. They seem to have a substantial case for their clients. From what I can gather, it's been alleged that Payarc is adding monthly fees and services to the merchants accounts with the merchant's knowledge, without the agent/rep knowledge, and/or without proper notification on the merchant's statement. Apparently, according to the complaint being prepared, this has been going on for years. Also, I believe I understood it to read, Payarc questionable billing practices included inflating the interchange fees.

Great customer support and super fast response time.

Pros

I've been using Payarc for a while and love it. I love that I get the full payment and the fees are deducted at the end of the month, makes accounting so much easier.

Cons

None that I can think of I really love this product and its integration with our CRM.

I love using the v3 version as it is extremely user friendly and the reports are comprehensive with all the information I would need for accounting.

Cons

I loathe the v4 version as it is NOT user friendly nor is the interface user friendly. The reports are not easy to work with.

Not a damn thing this company is hot garbage and thats where they belong

Payments necer on time holds on money pushing Payments pay out and deposits days into a week or two

The seemingly great offer of minimal fees and free processing unit hides a serious financial penalty that is significant.

Pros

Their service is adequate and provides the benefits offered

Cons

When carrying out the review of their service with the salesperson they omitted to mention that if for any reason you wish to stop the service before an initial three year period a termination fee of $500 is applicable.

Loved it. We were exchanging a device for one of our merchants, and even though the process took a bit longer, the process was made bearable because of the great support you guys have. However, I am pretty sure that any other issue would be dealt in a similar manner so for that - ALL props to you!

Pros

As a partner, I worked on setting up one account with Payarc directly with your support and I was amazed. She was nice, very responsive and very knowledgeable. I was very pleasantly surprised as I worked with different support teams where they did not have one of these adjectives I used for \[sensitive content hidden\]. It was truly the easiest work I had so far.

Cons

Did not have much time to see negative sides of Payarc. So for now, nothing. Hopefully, it stays this way/

The payarc software needs to be improved to have more features such as on screen signature. Payarc needs to create plugin that allows wordpress developers to create their own POS system that can be integrated with Payarc terminal easier.

Pros

Everything was easy to set up and the few times I needed to contact them the customer service was easy to reach and very knowledgeable

As an independent Agent in Payments I have 5 different processor partners and by far, PAYARC delivers Outstanding Agent support to me .... as well as outstanding support to my merchants. This enables me to take great cafe of my merchants which is paramount to me.

Cons

They're busy and sometimes you have to leave a voice-mail .... however they do return the calls to get back to you.

The experience was great, have been recommending a lot of CP merchant as the boarding process is pretty seamless.

Pros

The level of support at PayArc is great. There is always someone to pick up a call and willing to provide help when needed.

Cons

I would hope during the after hours that the support would be able to assist on more technical things when needed. There are times where I am told I would have to wait until the main office is open once again.
