"Great status for Next-Insight after two years "

Overall: It was a great experience that allowed us to enable value journeys for multiple roles. Both the tool and the company allowed for a great start on this journey. It really enabled a bunch of great value journeys. - Application overview/responsibility/accountability - Comparing critical application with staffing on those ressources. - Showing both a teams responsibility and the applications they interact with. - Investment decision support. - Allignment of work methods. And more. What use to be 4 setups done in 6 ways were alligned, made visible and avaliable. I view this as a very valuable core of any IT and process landscape. Weather you call it a Enterprise Architecture tool, Governance tool, Landscape overview tool or something else seem less important.

Pros: The way it allowed us to roll out functionality in phases. So often it feels like its a all or nothing setup, but it enabled us to start with good governance on our application landscape and roll out both use and use cases.

Cons: All key data can more or less be updated directly or via API, but the early API versions had some bugs, this was annoying.

Reasons for Choosing Next-Insight: all product in Gartner report were considered and tested. Next-Insight seemed had all the must have boxes of cloud product, good metadata model and modern feel. But it also allowed for a phase based rollout with great support.

"Looking forward to what's next for Next-Insight"

Overall: I've seen the product evolve over the last couple of years, with feedback taken on board and applied thoughtfully. We've been able to readily adapt it to our needs and had excellent support from the Staun & Stender. We often get internal requests on how we can build on its capabilities and generate even more value.

Pros: Dashboards and workbenches are powerful and a great launchpad to get me to where I need to go, quickly. The data quality views are especially handy for those of us wanting to build a good data set. The bulk data import features work well, considering how complicated this task is. The new expanded API opens up some exciting possibilities for us.

Cons: One or two of the admin functions are not so intuitive in terms of navigation, but I know there are always improvements coming.
