Pros Way back in December 1999, I elected to leave my job at a graphics company to start my own business and I have never looked back. I made the jump from FlexiSign ($$$$) to VMP ($$). 25 years later I have nothing but good to say about this software. It does all I need it for and so much more. I am able to produce vinyl graphics and also produce artwork for digital printing. I have done everything from sandblast resist to 2 mil vinyl for police/fire vehicles. All done with confidence...and VMP. So, thank you from being that Yank who was able to bridge the english language gap/time zone difference, to make my business successful! Cons Initially, it was the lack of real-time help. And the language barrier, especially with fonts. What I was used to calling a certain font (say, Helvetica) was now Arial, etc. And in the early days, when I had an issue, I would have to wait for the folks in Australia to respond and we are time zones apart! Since then, if I have a need, I just Google Youtube/VMP. Switched from [Powerfleet](https://www.capterra.com/p/266387/PowerFleet/) I did NOT find what I switched from, FlexiSign Pro. So I picked one randomly. My boss was shutting down his business and he gave me lots of equipment but no sign software. Quite by luck/providence, I stumbled upon an offer from VMP to try your software so I did. I am thrilled that I never looked back. I am also thrilled that you now have representation here in the USA. Co Owner Printing Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Vinylmaster, One Stop Shop- NO Reason for Additional Software" April 7, 2025 5.0 We first started using VinylMaster in v4 over a decade ago and haven't looked back. The tools and ability to customize nearly everything to tweak the program how you would like makes running a sign business easier. When we have reached out to support for little issues, we have always been answered quickly and even sent a patch to tweak our software within a day. You couldn't ask for better support. The software can be as simple as you want to use it, just open a file and cut, or as complex as saving cut logs to know on which day you cut a file and what color you had setup. There are also 3 different "quick settings" for the toolbar, "Cutting Mode" - "Production Mode" - "Expert Mode". If you often feel overwhelmed with different buttons and settings you can dial this back to just the basics and it may help de-clutter your mind. We have learned however to leave in on "Expert" and after a week or so, you probably will too. This is truly an investment software that grows with you and is backed by amazing support. Pros VinylMaster is intuitive, which after using other software for years was a huge plus for us. Cons There has been nothing in the past 10 plus years we have disliked with using Vinyl Master that comes to mind. The software comes with loads of saved files to use , interact with and edit for your own designs. I use the templates all the time. Very happy with it. Pros awesome software! I love how easy it is to use . I use it for my vinyl cutter and I use it to resize all my images before exporting them for printing . so much faster than anything ive used. I make all my product labels and add text to my posters with it. i love how it exports in any format i need to the exact size i need . I love the contour cutter, the range of tools are awesome. The text tools give you so much range and freedom to do what you like with text. the outlining tool is amazing, i use it all the time. gives me a range of printing options directly from vinylmaster. The company is easy to purchase from, they answer your emails and provide solution to your problems. Pros Easy to use, with onboard guide. This software works as well as some of the most expensive programs plus it has image editing features built in, tons of fonts and I haven't found anything that can't be done with this ONE software program. I have used this software for several years and I love it. Before VinylMaster, I had multiple programs installed. One for vector art, one to import and edit images, another to import and edit images, because the other lacked certain features. Ugh! Very frustrating. One Program....Vinyl master....GET IT and Forget it. This will do everything you need at a price you can't complain about Cons Sometimes, I get an unexpected error or not responding message, I really don't think it's the programs fault. I can sometimes have up to 10 files open and working at the same time. The software program can only handle so much and I push it to its limit. Pros The huge file conversion ability for imports and the true V2000 .dxf export function. We use old Autocad software, and it is seamless to import there. Cons Epson print drivers available. Cons Not using the same shortcut for the magnifyer, like most other high-end vinyl cutting programms and dtp programms like Corel and Adobe is using.(the 'Z'key) When you're used to it, it's a bit annoying to have to push the magnifyer ikon. 2nd The poor quality of general clipart. September 23, 2024 5.0 Overall I still Love VM over every other graphics software I use SL, Coreldraw. Pros It is very user friendly unlike my other more expensive Sign Software ( Signlab 10). The effects options in VM are way better. I have been using VM since VM 2.0 and like wise have used Signlab since 1995 but i will never again buy a new Signlab. Cons My only complaint with VM pro10 is some of the Old effects are no longer available.
