Chattr has made the biggest impact on our ability to hire desperately needed restaurant staff and corporate office personnel. We were like everyone else in the industry struggling to fill positions in the restaurants to serve our customers. The response to our hiring needs has been truly remarkable. The ability to pause jobs and then reopen them, boost advertising for a period of a 14 days to fill positions quickly, and still have our monthly sponsorship cover all open jobs equally is amazing. Most of our applicants tell us that the applicant process was really great as well.

Pros

We always had to post our employment ads on independent job sites, one at a time. It was very time consuming, and the cost was quite a bit. Our Corporate office, and restaurant managers can now set up their own ads and manage their interviews (automatically or manually accept). With Chattr your job posting(s) go out to hundreds of sites, at one time. The chatbot questions allow the restaurants and the corporate office to decline applicants that are not qualified for the position, automatically.

Cons

We love everything about Chattr. The only thing that would make it a bit easier is if we could adjust our chatbot questions. Sometimes different locations may want to make a chatbot question a requirement to help qualify or disqualify an applicant. However, when you contact support, they are very quick to respond.

Overall, it has been great and I'm looking forward to continuing to see some of the additional product updates and implementations that will continue to meet our business needs.

Pros

The technology being used is what the current market is in need of with the easy of applications. We have been able to have a one stop management systems as we get out candidates in and start them in the application processes. Customer service has been amazing with our rep. She definitely made the onboarding and launch easy for our company and quickly answers any questions we may have. So many great things we have experienced with this company and product to meet some of our hiring challenges. Candidates have often complimented on the ease of their application process compared to others.

Cons

Additional job board options we had used with our previous ATS would be helpful, as well as a multi-step application process to meet the needs of our current interview process.

Pros

The best thing Chattr provided for our process was the ability for a candidate to schedule an interview at any time of the day. They no longer have to apply, then wait for someone to contact them and set an interview. It created endless opportunities for our Managers to set up their interview schedule and watch it fill up with scheduled interview.

Prior to using Chattr, weekends were dead zones. Applicants would have to wait until Monday morning to get call backs to schedule interviews. Also, interviews took longer since pertinent information for the candidate was scattered. I also love the daily overview that clearly reflects what's on the agenda... allows for planning!

Pros

Chattr not only posts the company's job listings on so many more sites but, keep up with refreshing them! This makes our jobs so much easier. I love that even though it's an interview-scheduling tool, they also capture the candidates' work history and availability. This helps our managers to review and better prepare for interviews.

Cons

Using a mobile device can be tricky. Having an app will make it easier to maneuver the site... no hidden tabs.Once our management team fully understood that Chattr is separate from the in-house application/ onboarding tool that the company uses, integration was great!

Overall we enjoy Chattr. There are always going to be growing pains with any new platfrom but Chattr does a great job at navigating those challenges with us.

Pros

They allow our hiring managers to really own the hiring process with ease. The chattrbot really takes out the grunt work of sourcing to find the best candidate. The customer support is top tier. I always get a friendly and timely response to any issues. I love that they are open to feedback on things to adjust and/or incorporate to make things more user friendly.

Cons

While the Chattrbot helps find the most qualified candidate it does cause application fatigue which leaves us with a handful of unfinished applications.

As a company with two brands, we have seen our job candidate list grow daily. It has helped with our recruitment immensely. We are happy with Chattr and expect, as they have shown since the beginning, better things to come in the future.

Pros

We have been using Chattr software for a little over four years. We were introduced to this software close to when Chattr started. It has helped us so much with hiring for both of our brands. There are updates and improvements monthly. Chattr will alert you about what updates have been made, how to maneuver around them, and how they will affect your daily use. The customer service you receive is always friendly and helpful.

Cons

The only con was that when we first came on board with Chattr 4+ years ago, we would run into a situation in which we would explain what we were trying to do, to fit the needs of our hiring process. When it was something that Chattr did not offer, Chattr would always take down the suggestion and bring it to their discussion table. Eventually, the suggestion was implemented into the program. I wish there were ways to be able to flag names that apply and that we have already interviewed, especially when they use a different email or change the spelling of their name, because it only allows candidates to apply once.

Great, my hiring managers absolutely love it. We are a franchise and have a dedicated section on our website for hiring. As soon as someone applies there we redirected them into chattr.

Pros

Streamlined process for interviews and posting to job boards. Custom Ai chatbots can weed through unqualified applicants.

Cons

Lack of telephone support, interface can be a little clunky when your first learning but once you have it down it's very versatile.
