I was part of the beta testing and the team has been very professional, accomodating and very responsive to all my questions and asks. I almost felt like they were designing the software for me - it was great! Once I used it, I knew I was never going back to the clunkier versions on the web. Pros I love the speed in which I can enter invoices. It went from hours to minutes. I love that it has the features I always wanted but had to work around - such as Approve and Pay if an invoice is already paid. And I love that it has a 2-way sync, so if something is paid in QB, it gets paid in Makershub without me having to do anything Cons I would like the search function to be more concise. Pros I was initially drawn in by the approval capabilities, and thought I would use it for one client. After using it and dealing with \[sensitive content hidden\] for customer service I am such a fan, I now have many clients onboard and several colleague referrals. Cons I don’t think it is as intuitive as other programs. Maybe that’s why I’ve gotten to know \[sensitive content hidden\] so well or maybe it’s just me, but I’ve needed to reach out for a variety of training because I just couldn’t figure it out. I recommend it to all my AP-intensive clients. The ACH and checks are really helpful in terms of giving a smoother process for AP Pros The ease of use and the information about when payments were made. Specifically the logs of when payments were authorized, submitted, withdrawn, and deposited. Give a clear audit log of what happened. Cons The QBO sync of the bills could be a bit better. It doesn't show you which bills have already synced over until you press the sync. Also, I think there should be template emails for the vendor payment requests. Requesting W-9 and payment information from vendors is easy and secure, and payment turnaround time is quick. Since the software captures and reads the invoices, not having to input all the invoice information manually is a big time saver. It also syncs with QBO with ease. Archived data provides detailed information beginning with the bill being uploaded through the customer receipt of payment. Customer support is quick to respond and has resolved any issues we have encountered. I’ve gotten nothing but positive feedback from users and vendors. Pros MakersHub has turned our bill payment process into a more simplified and efficient process. Cons We had a small issue with the way MakersHub was reading our check request forms. This issue was easily resolved by making a small change to the form. We haven't had any other issues. It enters expenses accurately and in more detail than I would if I were to enter manually. Cons I would love it if I could choose to expedite payments myself when scheduling them. Pros It has cut down manual entry, errors reduced to practically zero, and I end up going to MakersHub to check invoices instead of QuickBooks because it is faster. Cons There are some improvements that need to happen regarding ability to just enter a receipt as an expense instead of having to have a bill entry and then a bill payment entry for each receipt, invoices from different vendors that look too similar will go to only one vendor (regardless of who it actually is for). It has allowed us to eliminate the manual preparation of checks and has made it simpler to do ACH payments. The Makershub team has always been very responsive to questions or request for changes. We feel listened to, and very much appreciate changes that are put into place to update the software and make it more user friendly. Pros The amount of time it's saving me, the features make my job easier. The copy down function, the ability of the software to remember my accounts and descriptions is very appreciated. Cons I think it could be better if you update the view of the bills screen to look like the payments screen. I would recommend it to any business needing item extraction or processing >100 invoices/mo. Pros The extraction and speed is unmatched by any other tools. The rich features have clearly been designed from a user-first perspective. Cons There’s a learning curve because the settings/features are so deep. It integrates very well with the inventory. If you make changes in MakersHub, say you entered a wrong part number, it will sync the changes in QBO. You can set up the lines on your bills as either inventory item or as an expense item. I am constantly blown away by this product! I have never seen anything close in comparison. Pros MakersHub reads and lists in great detail all the information on the bills. The lines are editable so if you want to change any detail you can. Support is top notch. They get back to you right away. They listen to what you want, and the customize the program to meet your needs! We needed to be to change pricing on the bill to reflect foreign currency rate at time of payment. They set up a spot where you can enter a multiplier so that changes the dollar value on each line of the invoice so that it reflects the foreign currency price and not the price on the bill. I am continually floored by this company!!!!! Cons I don't really see any cons since support is very responsive to helping you get set up, and running and even customized for your needs. The product is easy to use and works as expected. Whenever we have a question or issue, customer support has been on top of it immediately. We are big supporters of the MakersHub team! Pros I have been using MakersHub for over six months to both process bills. The product is very easy to use and is a huge time saver for me. I estimate that I am saving 4 hours per week of mind-numbing data entry, which has freed up my time for more productive activities. Additionally, our accuracy has improved considerably since using MakersHub. I can't recommend the product enough. Cons I was a beta customer so dealt with some early (and predictable) issues with how the bill processing platform recognized certain billing formats. However, the MakersHub team addressed those issues immediately and the recognition accuracy has been perfect for several months. Cons The software is still fairly young so there are some improvements we've requested but any time that we have asked for an add on to the software the technical support team has been incredibly responsive and usually resolves our issues within the hour.
