Pros The simplicity of building a Tableau draft dashboard allows us to quickly collect feedback from both internal and external stakeholders, reducing unnecessary back-and-forth. By making the draft closely resemble a real Tableau dashboard, we streamline the design process. Once the design is finalised, the export feature further accelerates the development of the production-ready report. Pros I like the dashboard-specific layout, elements and multiple screens as this is a bit hard to replicate with other tools. It's going to be very helpful for my team. Cons I've paid for pro and there are some frustrating issues that feel rather basic to me - for instance, the geomap feature only gives you a small subset of countries. Why?? I'm mocking up a dashboard for the government of a country that isn't listed, meaning I'm spending tons of time creating image-based maps that should look much more professional. Secondly, there is significant lag moving between screens and no ability to select and move multiple elements at once, so a common task like replicating lots of filters across screens is very painstaking. I feel the element customizations are pretty limited for a professional tool; honestly I probably would've stuck with Canva Pro if I'd realized how limited this is. Lastly, don't offer a monthly rate but force customers to pay for the year. Just drag and drop visuals, move them around as needed, preview/test, add some sample data. Done. Pros Easy to use. Allows you to concentrate on the user experience. The best feature is the export to the development tools such as Power BI: Just export and swap out the data sources. Cons Exporting to Power BI, the look and functionality of the export is excellent, however some visuals are made up of several visuals (ex: core data visual + text boxes for titles and other text). If I were building from scratch, I would've used the out-of-box properties of the core data visual rather than using separate visual components. Review Source John F. Pros Mokkup is easy to use, and in my experience has accelerated the dashboard design process. I started using Mokkup in 2024, and am excited by the prospect of utilizing new features such as GenAI integration and enhanced collaboration for my teams. Cons While fast and easy to use, some of the features around customization could be improved. More control over UI element details such as font sizing, flexibility within different kinds of visuals, and other similar (yet minor) points could really take this next level. Pros It is and incredible tool for designing exectuvie dashboards for companies, because you can view how the final product is going to en up. It is a very interactive tool, and you can manage to have a very similiar look up at your final dashboard. Cons What I liked least about mokkup ai is that it is very limited in the part of sharing files and working together, since it is not entirely correct. It fits my needs, but it needs to be polish more so I can utilize it more. I am not sure if it's worth to go PRO. I get that go Pro will let me have more screen space to add more component. Some Components are Pro only. Access to more screens too. But in 2 days of use of the product, i wonder if the Pro will fix the component limitation that I see(that's my pain point) Pros Drag and drop is pretty easy to use. I love the fact that it tackles data. That's what I need, a quick way to mockup data with fake information. Cons Navigation is a pain. I want to have something like figma where I can always have access to the component library and on the left side, having access to the details of the componant. I also want to be able to share directly to my PM so he can add his feedback or simply play with it. A third thing I wish I can see, it's a clickable link to connect the screens. Pros It's ease of use, when selling a dashboard to a client it can be hard to visualise what a grouping of metrics and KPIs will look like in a dashboard, this tool easily lets you mock-up a number of visualisations with ease which is very helpful.
