The software allowed me to achieve a new level of realism in my images. Pros I like the real-time quality that oofers, aswell as the output quality of the images and videos. The assets are on a large curated collection and it´s material quality allows you to create depth in your imagery. Cons It would be good to be aible to render images withouth the HDRI in the back, this helping one step in the postproducion. It has become one of the main software packages I use daily in my workflow. Pros The quality of the real-time viewport. The ease of use of the uncluttered interface. The speed and quality of the render engine itself. The large content library and its animation capabilities. The ability of the live links to immediately see the updates to my project scenes. Cons The one issue I have with D5 render is the lack of real displacement. It uses parallax displacement. This works in most cases but the ability to have true displacement in certain cases would be great. The competition with other real-time software is getting pretty fierce. Unreal engine now has real displacement and Chaos Vantage has just added it in its latest release. I hope that D5 will add it soon. In these recent years D5 has improved so much that, not only it has caught up with older rendering softwares, its starting to set Industry standards with addition of features like Atmospheric Ai, Material AI, new Camera tools and many more. D5 has improved so much with every major updates and they have improved my designs and renders simultaneously. Pros Real-time Raytracing was the first thing to get me to D5. Simple UI, easy to learn, use, gives accurate, photo-realistic renders. With every major updates, D5 developer teams has raised the standard for 3d Renderings. With addition of Atmosphere AI, Material AI, new camera tools, live sync features, my life as a designer had never been easier. Give you more confidence to play around the design models and explore your crative side with huge content library selection options for models and materials. With options to render photo and videos in any aspect ratio, I was able to render vertical videos, and photos, for contents on Social medias. And there's D5 forum, a community where you find developers and fellow designers listening to your ideas, or problems or any needs. Cons Sometimes when a file is a bit heavy, the app crashes without any warning, even when rendering. The content library sever needs to improve asap, often I have been in a situation where a model or a material do not download for several minutes and even have to restart whole app. Switched from [Lumion](https://www.capterra.com/p/174874/Lumion/) D5 had real-time raytracing from the begining. It had better lightings, reflection, and overall better simulation of light and materials. Then, D5 kept on improving with every updates, adding particles, dynamic characters, decals, variable aspect ratio for photos/video renders, which Lumion did not offer. Pensei que teria que procurar muitos tutoriais para aprender, mas nem foi preciso. É muito intuitivo, os comandos são fáceis de encontrar e com 2 dias já consegui gerar imagens de ótima qualidade, chegando a igualar ao V-Ray em qualidade. Já havia testado o Enscape, mas o D5 Render é muito superior. Meus planos são de fazer a assinatura anual assim que tiver volume de trabalho para isso. Pros Gostei muito da facilidade de uso. É um programa bem intuitivo, com comandos simples e eficientes. A qualidade das renderizações é ótima e os recursos de configuração de cenas muito prático. galeria de assets muito boa, embora achei que poderia ter mais opções para móveis e decorações. Muito fácil para gerar imagens de qualidade, o inspetor facilita bastante. Na minha opinião, compete em igualdade com V-Ray, levando vantagem na facilidade de uso. Cons Acho que os controles de mover dos objetos poderia ser mais preciso, com pontos de snap, para inseri-los com precisão, por exemplo, no canto de outro objeto, sobre a superfície, no ponto central, etc. Nada que comprometa, mas dá mais trabalho para ajustar o posicionamento dos objetos. Outro ponto é que não encontrei o arquivo .d5 na pasta de projeto, mas várias pastas com vários arquivos. Falta também um arquivo de backup do projeto. Reason for choosing D5 Render Pela qualidade de renderização e facilidade de aprendizado e utilização. Consegui imagens com a qualidade do V-Ray e animações muito superires ao Enscape, sem contar que o Enscape tem uma curva de aprendizado muito maior e bem menos recursos. Las actualizaciones que ha presentado últimamente han sido de gran valor, aunque cabe mencionar que otras aun requieren de trabajo y optimización. Es un programa que recomiendo. Pros Sin lugar a duda es el trazado de rayos en tiempo real, a mi punto de vista no tiene competidores, y los resultados que se pueden obtener en tan corto tiempo es realmente sorprendente. Cons Tras casi dos años de uso, no me gustan la mayoría de los resultados que se obtienen con renders en diurno, y la herramienta de HDRI está muy mal lograda, lamentablemente hasta ahora no la han mejorado.
