Pros It's a native app, so I'm able to use it across everything, not just in a browser tab. The cost was reasonable, and not based on a subscription. I liked that. Cons It was a bit of a steep learning curve at first, but now that I understand it better, I use it more frequently. Since it's on the operating system level, it works on ANY app you use. Pros There are loads of AI app cropping up now - the unique feature of Elephas is the "super-brain" - that it can store your documents for querying, rather than needing to upload them one by one each time you want to reference them. Cons The user interface isn't quite as slick as I'd like it to be, I didn't love the constant hover pop-up over every application, but I'd expect this will be refined over time. I believe this is the most feature complete product currently available in the market. Their Super Brain feature is really cool and used extensively. Cons Elephas is only available on mac and iOS. Me being mac user is able to harness the power of Elephas but at the same time on mobile I am an Android user so there I have to see some other tool which disrupt my workflow. Cons Need to have your own guardrails up as it can edit parts of your email or text without realising, relying on API less data concerns but sitll hallucinated content creeps in so a lot of oversight and corrections needed. Cons the chat box is not as great as I hoped it to be. I would refer the team to Notion AI or Reflect AI for select to highlight chat functionality.
