"FOI's' and SARS a Legislative Requirement"
Overall: The system work for us and have no problems at all. Once the administration side of things is in your knowledge it can be adapted and changed as necessary for your purpose and any legislative changes.
Pros: The features that are within the system ensure that it can be modified to how the organisation want it for the specific use. It is easy to navigate and use and have recently being doing training on the system and feedback is positive about ease of use and navigation from a user perspective.
Cons: Was not happy with the look of the screens originally but this is now not important as it does the job required from an operational point of view. There have been changes made to the look of the system recently and have found it more endearing to the eye!

"Intuitive and Uncomplicated"
Overall: An uncomplicated and intuitive system which allows the Council to manage their statutory duties in the handling of information requests.
Pros: The system reflects the way that the Council handles information governance. Easy to navigate and view the essential screens. Easy to assign tasks and manage contacts to the team. I like the message store so that all emails can be stored. Reports are accessible and can be produced and amended by the team without reverting to the third party. This allows for reports to be accessed for management and the Commissioner's required stats. The company are very supportive and approachable for any issues, new business, changes etc. The ability to publish the details of the request.
Cons: I would like to be able to export all the emails easily. This would assist when doing a review.It would be helpful to have the ability to view the request type on the dashboard and sort accordingly. In a colleague's absence, it would be useful for other team members to be able to view their workload without running a report.

Overall: Excellent, it has enabled the management of thousands of requests over the years we have been using it, in an efficient and timely manner. Staff can be trained in how to use it in minutes, and the time saved across the organisation by its use has been invaluable.
Pros: Product enables timely registering and workflow allocation to enable you to meet your statutory obligations when dealing with Information Requests relating to a number of access regimes. The systems clock and reminders ensures deadlines can be managed effectively and automated acknowledgement messages to requestors means you can focus on the main activities.
Cons: User interface, whilst practical and easy to navigate it does need some updating in terms of look and feel. In addition, there could be more off the shelf reporting capability rather than having to create your own reports using the reporting tools provided.

"Excellent product"
Overall: The product has been of great benefit the Council in dealing with the requests we receive in terms of time management and the use of resources to administer the process. It has been a really valuable tool for us.
Pros: We have used Axlr8 for over 10 years and have never had any issues with it and have been involved in the product development during that time. My team administer the process for the whole Council but there are officers in each of the service areas who manage requests for their service, it has been easy to roll it out to all the services and the customer service from Rick and his team has always been top class.
Cons: I've never had have any real issues with the product since we have used it.
