These reasons are: that the company imports products under a different name (you may search online or check on their website if they use other names, usually indicated on their About Us/Privacy Policy, or do an address search instead), the company doesn't import products via sea freight (records via air freight are not available for public use) or the company requested that their import records should be made private. A sourcing expert I know recommended the site and I'm really glad he did! Use it all the time for product sourcing searches. Pros Search query is quick and comprehensive. Able to do vast sourcing research within minutes. The cost of use was justified within days of using power query. I was able to solve some sourcing mysteries right away that I was having a hard time with. Cons More features in "smart bookmarks" would be great. I'll send a note on what I would do. Very impressive product in the sheer availability of data from the universe of the US bills of lading data provided and a lot of the data is summarized on the website for free with fantastic visualizations. The API feature allows everyone to quickly subset and research relevant data in bulk, which is great for more systematic studies. Some additional data cleaning that the team did (e.g. the provision of HS codes, addresses etc) helps a lot in research applications. The team is incredibly helpful and supportive with the product -- \[sensitive content hidden\] was very generous with his time to walk me through the data intricacies and how to use API, which I found incredibly helpful. Cons I am very much looking forward to the company expanding further beyond the US imports to other countries in the future. The work this team is doing is fantastic!
