Pros

The ImportYeti interface is very easy to use with great flowcharts and raw data

Cons

Sometime there are multiple names for the same importer, ImportYeti does a good job suggesting other names the importer goes under, but can always improve.

Pros

Very easy to pull up all of the data and information related to imports, and you can search by just about anything.

Cons

Company name search can sometimes not find a company due to a space or typo. Just be careful how you enter data and you are fine.

ImportYeti help us to find data and suppliers very quickly, it saves us a lot of time.

Pros

We often buy electronic products and some big names in the industry rebrand these products with their own names and sell it much more expensive: some specific cables or optic fiber modules or other components. We have to ideas, either buy alternative products (like copies) or buy the same products that have not been "rebranded" but are exactly the same. ImportYeti help us to find which ones are the original products not rebranded and compare the prices for one solution or the other.

Cons

So far we didn't have any bad experience with ImportYeti.

I searched for a red light panel that would have cost me thousands in the US. I found a maker in china and I got it for $300. The thing is as big as me and super high quality.

I love how we have access to actual suppliers

Pros

ImportYeti provides comprehensive data on businesses. This is helpful in asserting a company has purposefully availed itself to a particular state because we can show the ports used by the company. I’m not sure it’s court-worthiness and whether it withstands being “trial-tested,” but it got me the information I needed. I’m excited to see how I can put this to greater use.

Cons

It seems some profiles are duplicated. Also, there is limited information on the bills of lading. This could be improved by giving users greater access and more data.
